Murali's run out and the spirit of the game.

I think it's hypocritical of him to complain about poor sportsmanship and then do this! You can't have it both ways!

Murali's run out and the spirit of the game.

Sorry mate but some people here have taken a hard line with some of my posting. Usually I would laugh at such a comment. What I was referring to was what someone has just told me about what just happened in the test just gone. I remember what happened last time. Not sure about your comment...

Geraint's run out and the spirit of the game

Just so you all know, my stance is exactly the same here as it was in the other thread. If you are out of your crease when the ball is live, and you get run out, it's your own fault. End of story.

Oh yeah, that's really believable isn't it? 8-) Dunno about Hair.

Murali's run out and the spirit of the game.

Something of interest to those insisting on good sportsmanship and upholding the spirit of the game. I've been informed by a kiwi friend of mine that the umps were going to wear a white sweater around their waists when Malinga was bowling so that the players could pick up the ball rather than...

I was going to mention him!!! Beat me  And yes, I'm old enough to remember him

Murali's run out and the spirit of the game.

Mate, you are the one who stated that the kiwis are the worst for poor sportsmanship. I made a comment which I happily retract, about you being a kiwi hater, (I've explained that the forum I frequent has very different standards and a comment like that would have meant nothing but if my apology...

I'm not a kiwi. I'm an Aussie. And being tested in a lab is NOT the same as bowling on the ground, in the heat of battle. I hardly think Murali is walking in to bowl thinking, "I must not flex my arm more than 15 degrees".

"Yeah I know. I said middle order but I just meant he wasnt an opener. Top order is a swear word in NZ cricket so we call batsmen either middle order players, or the "O" word." Fair enough. Well JL has batted quite a bit at No 3 for Western Australia I think. So if you mean top order...

For the record, I was watching Murali bowling and I have issues with that doosra too. Even allowing an extra 15 degrees for his deformity, it still looked like AT LEAST a 30 degree flexion.

*Unofficial* New Zealand Black Caps Thread

Justin Langer was a middle order player  He was? Err I don't think so. He's always been a top order batsman. Made his debut as a No 3 against the then powerful Windies back in 92/93

Fleming's got 2-3 more years in him yet. And have you got anyone else to replace him? I know Ross Taylor is in the wings but who else? Mind you, after 2 ducks in a row he DOES need to find some form

Murali's run out and the spirit of the game.

An Aussie who is in love with the Kiwi skipper  And a regular at another forum. A place where there is some very healthy debate - so if I've offended anyone by the way I've been posting, I'm sorry. It's just the way we talk at the other forum.

What name calling? All I said was the way you have been posting makes you look like a kiwi hater. You haven't been able to disprove that by giving me examples of all this supposed bad sportsmanship on their part. I'm asking you to do so.
