    ***Official** West Indies in England***

nice game, my 1st Test watched in almost its entirety. I felt a little sorry for West Indies, but they proved they are still up, alive, and this Sammy is worth the money. Chanderpaul, what a man, almost 7 hours at the crease, unbeaten. England lived through Cook and Panesar I reckon. beautiful...

Pool C - New Zealand, Italy, Portugal, Romania, Scotland

I hope Romania can get two wins, Scotland didn't look so well in the Six Nations and Portugal is pretty accesible. The NZ game will be holiday - last game in the group at 2pm. And with Italy... who knows...? Tbh our rugby fell down a lot, only the Bucharest team has put out some good matches in...

    Twenty20 not Ponting's game

I was making my point considering the abilities employed. In Rugby union tries are more difficult to get, the game is very physical and kicking has a major place. In Rugby league speed gets some role and tries begin to matter most. In Sevens speed is highly favoured, tries rule the score and a...

    Twenty20 not Ponting's game

fair comparison to rugby imo: Test = Rugby Union ODI = Rugby League Twenty20 = Rugby Sevens To all their merits. If rugby can survive well in three forms, so could cricket.

Introducing cricket to a new country and audience

what would be a good slogan for cricket making its first step on TV? "Hit and run", or something? (sounds silly)

Who will win the ODI Series between England and WI

as i've seen from the west indies in the world cup, they didn't look amazing at bat, even with lara. i don't really know who can make such an impact now. and, well... odis at the end of a tour will find them consumed - who knows? only if england will relax thinking at the battle with india...

back i am, seems i missed a lot :) but that's it, cricket is a wonderful crazy game, where you can bowl terrible 50 minutes and terrific the next 10... and these last make history. honestly don't see the Windies able to get over it.

this sums it all: Harmison bowling a bouncer (probably another bye or something) and Morton managing to give away his wicket with a stupid edged shot. and the crowd cheering.

i must reckon, after almost an hour of watching, that cricket must have played a big role in creating the English humour style.
