See, though? Because of those sorts of things, he's almost certainly going to be retained for a while yet.
Yes, but it is a decent ball Richard, not luck imo, which is why it's SO frustrating, if he was just uniformly rubbish, it would be less annoying.

this sums it all: Harmison bowling a bouncer (probably another bye or something) and Morton managing to give away his wicket with a stupid edged shot.
and the crowd cheering.

Of course it's a decent ball, but there's no reason to suspect they're going to be commonplace. They have no reason to be, when this rubbish is the norm.

Come on Davydenko, you deserve a set.

Oh and fears about Ryan being a Headingley specialist may be well-founded, I'm afraid:mellow:

Yeah, wasn't a Bouncer, was just a very surprising good delivery, and Morton couldn't do a lot with it.

Don't be silly Richard's hatees don't bowl decent balls. So any wickets they get are just luck.

You have to admit SP that the performance has been slightly underwhelming so far hasn't it? I forgive Plunkers because he's still quite young and I don't believe he should be playing at this level until later on, but Harmison is a veteran and should be able to pitch the ball in one half of the pitch.

Oh and at both you and Richard, stop being little children.

he could have let it go, couldn't he?

(I feel like the rookie that I am)
Well, he could have, but it was on a reasonable length, and Harmisons extra bounce made it steeple.

That's why he's picked really. Despite what a couple of members here say, when his radars right, he's a dangerous bowler. At the moment he's bowling ****e, 95% of the time, though.

Apparently on the wire it says AD has compared Plunkett to the young Glenn McGrath.. .I can't believe McGrath ever bowled crap like that.

Just read that article on the bbc, laughed through most of it. Plunkett will enever get anywhere near Mcgrath.
