    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

After that series in India I really though Latham's captaincy might be strong enough to take brave decisions. He didn't bowl Sodhi at all in the last test which was a very brave call. This series he bowled Glenn Phillips after lunch in Hagley rather than a 145 kph fastbowler. He's now...

This is just straight garbage from Southee. Club batsmen would put this away. Nathan Smith on as sub fielder must be seething watching the pressure from the other end just dissipate.

Well what do you expect? Think they're generally fine and give a good atmosphere. Unfortunate that they support a cheating team but that's not really their fault.

Honestly I wouldn't mind an over or two of GP with an in out field.

Just have O'Rourke and Henry rotating from one end and Santner bowling with a defensive field. Southee can be specialist outfield catcher.

O'Rourke to Brook should have been the plan 100% of the time this series, bowling from both ends 100 overs a day. I said it straight away in ChCh and it has not changed.

This poor ANZ fanbassador dude. That's brutal.

You'd have to question the quality of this side tbh.

when the opposition bowls 2 overs an hour you start to think you need to make the most of your time out there.

Also another curious observation. England revert to their cheating over rate and wickets start to fall.

Curious. When Latham is the captain our batsmen are finding soft ways to get out after getting starts.

Lol no. It doesn't matter who the bowler is. Latham will get himself out

Stokes trying to get Williamson caught at midwicket or midon on the pull here.

Ravindra coming in at some stage. Wonder if he'll grow out of the Lathams or if it's gonna be a feature of his career

A coincidence that England have lost the session when they don't cheat? I think not. ;)

Carse bowled very well. England overall bowled to a plan that was clear and intentional to each player. Was poor captaincy bowling Phillips after lunch. Poor bowling to Brook and Pope, with no apparent plan or strategy at all.
