    **Official** England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Oh believe me if there was a batsman knocking the door down NZers would be all about that. He is/has been at least international standard which is exceptionally rare for NZ batsmen.

Latham has been an above average opener most of his career. Last couple of years not so.

Oh **** that's awful. I feel terrible now

Yeah I was calling for Parker to get some revenge against Whyte. Would be a nice name and probably also a highlight real KO given Whyte's chin of late. To be fair to Whyte he's never really been fleet of foot. I actually think Tetteh was better than advertised as well - although he is...

Stevenson also called Kallis, Chanderpaul and Dravid "aggressive batsmen" a wee while ago. Look, I understand being an outsider commentator, but then your job is to ask questions of the experts rather than just talk drivel the whole time. For some reason I'm imagining him having *** with his...

Really think GP is worth a bowl here with this drift against Pope. Loads of runs on the board and a no win situation for the batsman so think it would be worth a few overs. Unlike the match situation in Hagley.

it's not tough you have Henry you can bowl or you can even give GP a go given Pope sucks against spin.

Should have been the entire series and it was so obvious to anyone watching it's insane.

So let's just recap this series. England on day 2 at Hagley are 4 down for less than 100. Latham has this 6'6 150 kph inswinging demon in his arsenal. And bowls Glenn Phillips for half a session.

151 kph that, from O'rourke. Brook refuses to get in line. Well, I probably wouldn't either but I'm not an international cricketer.

Love it. So great for a solid unsung pro to have a moment like that. One of the best things that can happen in the sport. Not even known as a puncher. But looks sound enough in his fundamentals and Munguia frankly has never been defensively blessed.

Nz, particularly any place north of Wellington also feels much hotter than the degrees celsius due to the sun. 28 in Hamilton feels like 36 in athens. Just very hot.

Another session in which England bowl something close to a reasonable over rate, and another session in which they get absolutely smashed. Coincidence? I think not.

Will be nice watching Mitchell and Phillips bat with freedom on this tomorrow.

Think the change of ball has helped this type of bowler. Still think he'd suck on a flat wicket with a kookaburra

So can we play just O'Rourke and Santner to bat and bowl? Thanks.

Aussies are quick enough to recognise when a batsman is not getting in line with the ball and will just bowl straight to him.

New Zealand is so weird like that. 28 genuinely equivalent to 36 in the rest of the world.

Pope just watching the gentle swing out of the hand and hitting on the up as he pleases. Can't have this. Santner or Phillips please.
