Ambrose didnt skip anything, the one time he had a chance in India he was injured and he never had any opportunities in SL save for one test. Please stop with the half truths. And if we're adding context and caveats for Imran, I might remind you that Ambrose was injured during that horror tour of Pakistan in 1997. Still, he has a better record there than Imran in Nz and Australia. All of a sudden we need "context" for less than stellar away records....aka only when it suits Subz.
As usual you don't address all my points.

Anyways, sure Ambrose didn't skip India and SL, fine I didn't mean it literally, the issue still remains he has a highly imbalanced away record without SC rep. As for Pak 97, he was injured before the third test which he didn't play, he wasn't playing in injury in the first two, he was just smashed while Walsh and Wasim thrived, and hence considered retirement.

And feel free to ignore the context I gave on Imran in Australia and pretend that the guy who was the best bowler in WSC was poor there.

Ambrose did have a fine WC in 1996 in SC didn't he ? A different format obviously but his bowling then gives me the confidence that he would do well in India if he played in tests.

Imran in Australia was fine too. Not earth shatteringly awesome but pretty good.

It is hard for any bowler to tick every box. We shouldn't go down this route.

Yeah it's close between them.

He is just annoyed because he thinks I go after Lara too hard, so he wants revenge by just mindlessly going after Imran.

Not likely, He looked invincible in 2018-2021 but seems to have regressed, bowling too short, awkwardly slow sometimes and so forth, if he can regain that form then sure.

ATG player is definitely possible tho, regain BGT, win an away Ashes in 2027 etc

Indian batting is so ass currently he will have it next time SA tours
Not so if we prepare flat tracks. Hopefully kohli would be gone by then and we can have somebody like sai sudharsan and dhruv jurel play then rabada would smashed around the park and anyway south africa are touring in October we will see then

All cummins needs is good tour of india/sl
Bumrah needs good tour of nz
And rabada needs good tour of india/ pak/sl
I would like Cummins to have a Great away Ashes to go over someone like Lillee or Donald as well, alongside a great one in India.
Bumrah actually did fine in his 2 NZ matches, especially the 2nd. Him having one Great series vs them home or away works just fine.
Rabada needs a Great tour of India and Pakistan for me to properly be in the discussion, a good Australia tour will largely help.

He had a great away ashes in 2019 tbf. Lillee also never had a good series in the subcontinent.

Yes but english pitches are lot flatter then pre bazball. Can see even bumrah struggle we we tour in june. Hopefully bumrah has atg tour of nz in 2026 which would lead us to win a series and break mental hold kiwis have over us and yes agree with your point regarding rabada tho
