Top ten pacers of all time? No, but Bumrah is a great shout. Cummins and Rabada would probably make the top 30-50?

So Cummins gets a pass for India, Srilanka and Bangladesh but Donald doesn't get one for Australia? Cummins has actually done well only in Aus, SA and Pak while Donald has a well rounded record.

No Cummins needs at least one quality series in India. And another one in England to get his record right there.

Donald vs Australia is way more serious. They were the best batting team of his era and he had one quality series in five he played against them.

A good list, but both Bumrah and Cummins ahead of Holding for me. Bumrah has the better quality and Cummins has the wickets. Holding played in the modern era, did not have an astonishingly great record by ATG standards nor an insane longevity.

Steyn had to deal with significantly tougher pitches away from home, and against better batsmen than Bumrah does right now.

Yes Bumrah is great, but the presumption that he will end up better than Lindwall is still up in the air, far less Steyn.

Yeah indias first test in the nz series, imo proves there's still life there for pacers every now and then.

Ambrose to me is simply not as well rounded a bowler as Imran nor does he have a bowling set that I think would succeed in the SC.

If he retired now, he's probably ahead of Garner and Lindwall already. Maybe Trueman. Donald and Lillee....no. Needs greatness away in the Ashes for me to begin with.
