But the problem is Kumble is averaging 50 from the SA series upto this point.I'm sure he would fully understand if he got the axe.He has no reason to complain.. Either way,his performance in this test should decide the matter(atleast to us viewers:laugh: )

I don't think anybody will be called up this late before the test..i'm sure one of Kumble and Harbhajan will be fit in time,if not both.So no worries.

Build-up to Indian Domestic Season 2008-09

Parmar has been impressive..i don't see anything wrong with his off-spinner its the doosra that sometimes creates a doubt..but i'm sure this can be corrected.

I somehow doubt if Krejza will actually make it into the team..White has been decent.

^ it was just lousy camerawork.Instead of focusing on the guy who took the catch they caught sachin who was celebrating with Sehwag who just got up at that point..he was on the ground after taking the catch btw.

    No it was Sehwag actually.

yeah before this series Aussies were the best attack in the world.. Realistically one or two of those bowlers won't even last until the first ball is bowled. If an upset tummy won't do it then homesickness probably will.

But that was before they had Mendis and in your home conditions wasn't it?Facing SL in SL with Mendis in their side is different by quite a bit, imo.

    Brilliant Ishant

^Whats wrong with Zaheer?Patel bowled exceptionally well in SL odi series..Seroiusly Indian bowlers are way too underestimated.

I think they must bat for 40-50 overs tomorrow. That will give them about 130-140 overs at the Aussie batsmen.

    Michael Clarke Discussion thread

I have never particularly rated him as a prodigy or anything at anystage..but yes he has quick footwork and looks good when his strokes come-off.However i disagree that he'll be the best batsman in world at any stage of his career.

    Fab Five Replacements

I hope they give Raina a chance also. Its clear he is quite talented and also averages around 45 in FC.There aren't many(if at all) better stroke players in India.

When will India become Number Uno?

I'm sorry but its quite obvious who the better set of bowlers are if you consider their respective performances gainst Engkand in England. No doubt we would be avging under 30 if we played in such seamer friendly wickets all the time. Also take a look at how NZ pacers performed against a team...
  20. Lambu

    Indian seamers..

Zak avging 28 in the last 2 years. That has got be good considering he plays more often than Lee in sub-continent wickets. EDIT:but yeah doesn't beat Lee's 22 per wicket for 18 months.Anyways i think he is the better bowler in these conditions and my thoughts totally agree with what Manee has...
