You did watch the match didn't you?
unfortunately not as the game starts at 12am at my place .... by lucky, I meant getting to bat on the Ist day pitch, against Kumble and Bhajji, who don't do enough of late in the Ist inning, if the pitch has nothing in it for them

though I remember, watching a little of that early session on Day 1 at B'lore and coming up with this before hitting the sack

like 1863 :p

btw, this is one of the series where both the teams could be better of not playing their regular captains, i.e. Kumble and Ponting .... at least Kumble can, potentially, get something out at Delhi. don't know what Ponting will do on it to be honest
Wow.....that has to be one of the stupidest comments I've seen.

"Yeah lets go to India, a place where we've won 1 series in the past 4 million years, with a bunch of unexperienced test players, against a team that more than pushed us at home....but we'll drop our best batsmen and captain because he failed there 8 years ago"

nice Ponting avatar

As an Indian fan, I would be happy to see Ponting playing and captaining .... if he does well, i would be happy too as Ponting is my favorite non-Indian batsman from those playing cricket atm

I guess both the teams will field their respective captains unless they are injured but imo, it's a series where both the teams could do without them

Ponting has 147 runs so far and of that he has 123 in one inning so after his 100, he has been averaging 8 which is like his usual average in India .... Kumble has been pathetic with the ball but he would he be happy to play at Delhi

Wouldn't mind seeing what Dougie (the cult figure!) has to offer if Clark is ruled out. Word is, from my Indian spies, that Krejza will be given the nod in Delhi, regardless (in place of Siddle).

For such a dire selection, I hope we get punished, not just for this upcoming test match, but the rest of the series.

I want India to inflict the worst two defeats on Australia we've ever suffered and I want all our players to perform, except Krezja.

What's a good result from here for Australia? If the batmen pick up they could get a couple of draws to leave it 1-0. That would actually be a pretty good effort.

Norwood's on Fire
It is just unthinkable for me to consider that Australia would consider only losing 1-0 as a success

Yes, it's absolutely amazing when losing 1-0 is seen as a pretty good result. I love it. Usually, that's something the rest of us had to say when touring Australia. Or Indian fans had to say when touring.
