ugh I hate giving away that single.

Really want to see Rachin bowl on this pitch.

Batting looks super top heavy with mitchell at 5. Would probably take Young instead, although i do like Mitchell's (usually) decent slip fielding. Or maybe Chapman would be worth a shot. Are there any other young (lol) batsmen coming through domestically?

One person who has not been mentioned is Rangana Herath who has been NZ's bowling coach for the tour. If he had even the slightest influence on Santner's performance then he deserves a lot of credit.

Yeah there were times when Bumrah was breathing fire and Sarfraz looked outrageous and then Sundar Washington has a blinder on return to the team. It's a good side with good depth.

Yeah this is what I noticed too re: the taller bowlers. Was also why i was surprised to not see rachin used a bit more. Think ajaz could be ok in mumbai.

Santner is tired. Can't believe Rachin hasn't bowled. Also the field settings have been a bit defensive.

Because our batsmen suck against true pace.

It's purely styles make fights. Our bowlers suck on hard fast true pitches, and our batsmen suck against genuine pace and bounce. We are however above average against pretty much everything else - swing, seam, spin, low slow etc etc.

Use of the reverse sweep as a strike rotation option rather than as a boundary finder has been a pretty notable addition to most of the batsmen's approaches. That and some very unresponsive captaincy.

Normally I'd agree with this but they're just giving away singles freely and runs are coming pretty easy so I don't even think he needs to throw caution to the wind at all.

Calls out gambhiring goes on to gambhir.

Yeah watching with my mum right now and constantly surprised at how many singles they're giving Latham in particular. It's very poor captaincy because Latham in particular is well known to get bogged down at times and struggles when he's not rotating the strike.

I have this funny feeling that Joseph Parker is not getting fights right now because he is the backup plan if Fury pulls out of the rematch with Usyk. Frank Warren would like that. Joseph Parker would like that. Usyk would think it's a respectable scalp to add to his resume. Turki would probably...

Wow, Tszyu brutally stopped by Murtazaliev. the look on his face after feeling that left hook was scary. Tough, tough dude but that felt dangerous how long it went on for.

I don't think I saw Beterbiev land a single punch cleanly. It was still a close fight because he is an amazing boxer with ridiculous power and a fantastic jab. He had a few good rounds. But I think Bivol clearly won that. You could make a case that Bivol won 5 of the first 6 rounds and that's...

I could make the case for a draw. I think Bivol won though. Landed the cleaner punches throughout. Was in control majority of the rounds. Stood his ground when he needed to.

That was a straight up robbery. Bivol won that fight. Clearly. 8-4.

That was amazing from Bivol. I knew he had the skills but he showed so much grit and courage in there and the way he pushed Beterbiev back multiple times and stood his ground was super gutsy. I think he clearly won that fight.

Right who the **** cares about Ciara* and Busta Rhymes? *teenage hendrix definitely cared about Ciara...remember the video clip to Ride? Goddamn. I asked the mrs why Saudi doesn't get any of the middle eastern stars to play e.g. Dana Salah etc. Apparently none of them will play because...
