    ***Official***Match #35 - New Zealand vs Pakistan - November 4th - Bengaluru

Reminds me of Crowe and Fleming batting together in a big ODI run-chase in '95 - past and future generational Black Caps batting talents uniting. The forecast was dodgy for this game, hopefully they get a full match in.

Glad we lost the toss, the bat second no matter what approach was backfiring.

    ***Official***Match #32 - New Zealand vs South Africa - November 1st - Pune (D/N)

Simon Doull said as much at the time. Sadly vindicated.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

I was going to say I hope Taylor Bettleheim and Fergus Lellman get some opportunities. Just looking at the A team games it looks like Bettleheim is playing for CD A now. Good hundred for Tashkoff for Wellington A.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Must be decent as he's keeping Ollie White out of the team. Oh, just saw this. http://www.cricketweb.net/forum/threads/nz-domestic-season-2023-24.89983/post-5083086

    Greg Chappell Today

Yeah, county players used to get a testimonial season after 10 seasons. Hadlee and Border had televised testimonial matches. How good were those. Alfie Langer and Paul Vautin played in the Border one and Vautin pulled off a great one handed catch.

    NZ domestic season 2023/24

Looks like Otago have picked up Jamal Todd who sounds hugely promising and played in that UAE league last season. His team featured number of internationals including Woakes, Stoinis, Moen Ali and Gurbaz the young Afghanistan opener. Some nice boundaries, including one off Jamieson through the...

    ***Official***Match #27- Australia vs New Zealand - October 28th-Dharamsala (D)

Well played Ravindra, who would have guessed at the start of the year he would get two World Cup centuries. It's been so good to see him start to fulfil that early promise. Also, have to say this is one of the most picturesque cricket stadiums I've seen.

    ***Official***Match #27- Australia vs New Zealand - October 28th-Dharamsala (D)

Ravindra continues to be a revelation in this world cup. So pleased I stayed up to see that century. Really disappointing from Phillips.

*Official* Match #6- New Zealand vs Netherlands- Hyderabad, October 9th

Just let Kane sit the tournament out as non-playing senior statesman/mentor like Old Man River in 2015.

*Official* Match #6- New Zealand vs Netherlands- Hyderabad, October 9th

Nearly got upset by Zimbabwe in 1987. David Houghton smoked 142 and they needed 6 off the last over but NZ held on by 3 runs. https://www.espncricinfo.com/story/dave-houghton-takes-on-new-zealand-799455

*Official* Opening Match- England v New Zealand- October 5th, Ahmedabad

Just watching a replay of the NZ innings (having just seen the start of the England innings where the stadium seemed empty) I can believe it.

An ex-test player wrote about how Conway looked better than his contemparies when he was 19. Likened him to Graeme Pollock with his ball striking. https://www.citizen.co.za/witness/archive/a-bright-future-for-devon-conway-who-should-be-in-the-national-team-sooner-rather-than-later-20150430/

Umpire misses a clear caught behind off Duffy. Thank God for DRS in international games.
