Aus into the WC Soccer Finals.
At last, normal oder has been restored.
No it doesn't. The updates aren't written very often, and the scorecard is usually a couple of minutes behind.Samuel_Vimes said:Teletext?
Basically, it's text updates on the TV. I don't think it has commentary tho (not sure)
I'd recommend tabasco sauce for everyone.Mecnun said:For the 3-0 brigade and whoever HowardUK is I recommend Tabasco sauce!!

Normal odour.
Stinks.
Let's not worry about the detail of my prediction, other than to say that I am still on track for my 2-1 England series victory.Mecnun said:For the 3-0 brigade and whoever HowardUK is I recommend Tabasco sauce!!
Why, peri peri of course. What else goes better with chicken?luckyeddie said:I'd recommend tabasco sauce for everyone.
I had some on toasted cheese for breakfast this morning.
For lunch, I'm having a chicken sandwich, but I'm not sure whether to put tabasco or peri peri on it. Decisions, decisions.
I very rarely suffer from foot in mouth disease, because I tend not to make rash predictions (like whether the sun is actually come up tomorrow, what do we actually mean by 'come up' etc).Mecnun said:Not everyone can get accustomed to the spice but it is definnetly recommended for plain fare..Cannot advise on your chicken sandwich all depends on whether it is infected by foot-in-mouth disease.
Actually, didn't most people on here actually said we'd be happy with a series win, regardless of score - I don't remember a 3-0 prediction from any of the forum regulars.ClownSymonds said:Anything short of a 3-0 victory in this series would seem to be a failure, according to most England supporters' pre-series thoughts.
What "enormous stroke of luck" is this then?ClownSymonds said:As for England throwing the match away rather than Pakistan winning it - England probably wouldn't have been in a position to throw it away had it not been for another enormous stroke of luck.
Eng got bowled ou, pure and simple.Scaly piscine said:Pakistan didn't win that, England threw it away. Absolutely pathetic knuckle-headed display from the batsmen.
Sorry, but bar Scaly, which English fans have displayed bitterness on here?dontcloseyoureyes said:IT WAS ALL THE UMPIRES FAULT!!!!!!!111!!!shiftone!!![/bitter englishman]

Time for me to hold my hand up and say that although I said I would be happy with any series win, my eventual prediction was 3-0 to England. Although I did change that once Vaughan got injured to 2-1, so I'm still on course for that.marc71178 said:Actually, didn't most people on here actually said we'd be happy with a series win, regardless of score - I don't remember a 3-0 prediction from any of the forum regulars.
Obviously all the regulars on here are exceptions as well.ClownSymonds said:Yes, well, the common English supporter isn't quite so reasonable.
Definitely. Plus a nice piece of revenge IIRC - didn't Uruguay beat you in the playoffs a few years ago?social said:Heh, heh.
We cant even play football yet were still better than Uruguay.
In all seriousness, one of the greatest nights in Aus sports and I'll be there in 2006.
As shown by a Test average a tad under 40 - what a failure that is (!)ClownSymonds said:I don't know what all you Kamal supporters are thinking. The guy's been given trial after trial in first class matches and has failed miserably time after time.
Hopefully he'l be dropped regardless of Vaughan coming back.open365 said:Does anyone realisticly see Collingwood playing the next test if Vaughan is fit?
Yeah but we werent trying back then, because we held the Ashes.wpdavid said:Definitely. Plus a nice piece of revenge IIRC - didn't Uruguay beat you in the playoffs a few years ago?
