***Official*** England in India

Let's get Fred on for a two-over burst if he can manage it - see if he can blast out Kumble before stumps. If he does, it's our game to win.

I'd send Jaffer and Pathan.
If a wicket falls, send in Sreesanth or Kumble.

Remember, that leaves us with Dravid, Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Sehwag and Dhoni tomorrow.
That was brilliant. I personally feel Dravid should have opened.

England have played well but it if wasn't for fair few dodgy calls goin their way and the great catching efforts from indian fielders.. England wouldn't be in this position in teh first place.
Darrell Hair you're an absolute joke on an umpire.... its not that he's just incomptent.. but seriously you got to wonder what that man thinks sometimes. The way those 50-50 calls always seem to go in favour of England while he's umpiring.
When in doubt, blame an Aussie!

Did Hair drop all those catches?

Did Hair decide what to do after winning the toss?

Did Hair bowl for Harby?

Did Hair keep wicket for India?

C'mon, India should clearly have won this series and the fact that it is still up in the air is their fault not Hair's.

Nasser Hussain spewing rubbish now, saying that specialists should come out to do the batting. So obvious he wanted Dravid to come out so his favored team could get the big wicket.

Why would he certainly get out? Dravid is rated among the best in the current game, he should be good enough to see out the day.

How close was that lbw shout?
Came in from about 6-8 inches outside the off stump and would have hit off. Umpire may have deemed it hit outside line of off stump and gave a doubtful benefit :)

To be fair India should have won this series 3-0 after all the injuries, illnesses and absences (Tres, Vaughan, Gilo, Jones and now Harmy, Cook even Collingwood isn't fully fit). The England squad looked to be in tatters, they have pulled together and India have nobody but themselves to blame for England being in a good position to draw the series. It can't even be said that England have batted well throughout the series, if you want to blame one person blame who decided to put England in.
