I take it you are joking....no team has ever scored 300 to win in India...its going to be far from easy for India to win this, esp with Sehwag having to bat low down.
OTOH England's spin attack isn't likely to frighten them, even on a day 5 pitch. Still, I suppose we always knew it was down to the quicks.

FWIW I'm with Barney & Pedro (apart from his defence of Jones, natch). Given the inexperience of England's attack, it's pretty obvious why they wanted to set 300+. Then again, I didn't have to watch it today.

Never thought I'd say this but C'MON ENGLAND!!!!

They're missing half their team, playing away from home, made most of the running inthe test series and dont deserve to lose!

Hopefully Fred can finally get the figures he deserves and bowl India out (whilst Sachin plays a lone hand of 199 of course:) )
England have played well but it if wasn't for fair few dodgy calls goin their way and the great catching efforts from indian fielders.. England wouldn't be in this position in teh first place.
Darrell Hair you're an absolute joke on an umpire.... its not that he's just incomptent.. but seriously you got to wonder what that man thinks sometimes. The way those 50-50 calls always seem to go in favour of England while he's umpiring.

Not that it means a thing but....

India's top 9 batsmen total 318 in the second innings in their careers..

Jaffer 32.8
Pathan 36.0
Dravid 51.0
Sachin 45.7
Yuvraj 81.2
Sehwag 25.0
Dhoni 33.0
Kumble 14.7

Add to that Harbhajan's 14.2 a few extra and maybe they wont need Sreesanth and Munaf to bat :)

PS As I write, there gores Pathan and we are 30 runs short...maybe Srisanth will be needed

Jimmeh performs his trademark trick - getting a wicket with an absolutely terrible delivery. Onya Jimmeh.
