The strategy is to give India a target that they'll go for, but which is still tough. 320 in 100 overs will tempt them, but will be difficult. 350-370 in 120 would probably have resulted in them shutting up shop, and 270 in 80 would be too gettable.

We've played it exactly how we mean to, IMO.
India aren't that dumb, they'll just block out until they're reasonably safe as they did in the first Test. This strategy is completely stupid when you're 1-0 down with 1 to play.

According to Cricinfo, there's about 12 overs left. Is that actually going to happen?
hopefully not.. with the light issue.. you can never know.. we might not even have 1 over..

India could easily win this game, they only need 300-odd runs. Every run could count.
I take it you are joking....no team has ever scored 300 to win in India...its going to be far from easy for India to win this, esp with Sehwag having to bat low down.

So Yuvraj has dropped the most catches and Dravid comes next.

And they are arguably the two best fielders in this side.

I'd send Jaffer and Pathan.
If a wicket falls, send in Sreesanth or Kumble.

Remember, that leaves us with Dravid, Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Sehwag and Dhoni tomorrow.

Never thought I'd say this but C'MON ENGLAND!!!!

They're missing half their team, playing away from home, made most of the running inthe test series and dont deserve to lose!

Hopefully Fred can finally get the figures he deserves and bowl India out (whilst Sachin plays a lone hand of 199 of course:) )
