Turbinator isn't better than Panesar on recent form and he's not gone for 2 an over.
Bhajji was very good today, and the nature of Fred's dismissal shows how risky taking on the leggie bowling into the rubbish is also.

England are clearly missing Vaughan's common sense here. Is Fletcher stupid or is Flintoff stupid or am I unable to understand the strategy behind this rubbish?

India should basically send out a nigh****chman as an opener now. I wouldn't opt for Pathan, he's a valuable bat. Either Kumble or Sreesanth.
I have a real feeling Sreesanth will come out.

it would be nice if these 2 could bat out the day ;)
Surely that will be good for india. Chasing 300+ is goin to be very hard.

The strategy is to give India a target that they'll go for, but which is still tough. 320 in 100 overs will tempt them, but will be difficult. 350-370 in 120 would probably have resulted in them shutting up shop, and 270 in 80 would be too gettable.

We've played it exactly how we mean to, IMO.

What you did until Flintoff got out wasn't too condemnable, but what's going on right now. India will need 315 from 95-100 instead of 315 from 105-110. Mind you, the latter is not only more tempting for India, it also gives England more overs to bowl India out.
