**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

i'd prefer lara in form than anyone else.....sorry to say so...lara has the ability to singlehandedly turn a match on its head. i don' think that any other WI can do that......i know that it means still heavily depending on brian but i think that if we want to win in England then we need an in...

    Who is your favourite cricketer?

Without a adoubt, BRIAN LARA. 106 off 99 balls against the Irish yesterday and quite a touching moment when he went to present the little boy with his gloves.

i personally don't think that they do.....they even seem to want to give glenn marching orders.

    ODIS vs Test Matches

hey, you can't get everything from one version, but if i had to give up one, i'm sure it won't be Tests.

    ODIS vs Test Matches

NOTHING, absolutely NOTHING can beat Test Match Cricket. The traditional matches of WI-ENG,WI-AUS,ENG-AUS and now the battle of the giants, AUS-IND ....wouldn't trade it for anything......An ODI match WILL NEVER see a Lara 153*, a Laxman 281 or any of the greatest knocks ever played.

**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

all i have to say is: sigh...but i agree with the wickets point if only for one match that i have witnessed....the opener of WC2003: WI-63/2 after 25 overs got to 277/8 off 50.

**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

not a day. the only experience they have of england is from the last tour, and POSSIBLY (not sure) from WC1999.

**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

what about them? they went to england once on a senior tour with the WI in 2001. they are by no means experienced. Even though they have payed about 45 Tests each, they are both young. Sarwan will be 24 this week and Gayle is 24.

Zimababwe suspend all tests this year

brilliant move i think....the ZCU should sit up and take notice now...of course it would have been more potent if Zimbabwe were totally banned (ODI's included) but i supopose that that would be tantamount to suspenion from the ICC (Which, btw i would totally support)

**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

I think that the WI is stronger than both NZ and Eng in ODI's but will not perform well. England came away with a 2-2 draw in the 7 match series affected by rain in the WI,however they only won the first OSI after smashing 18 off the second to last over. NZ i think would have the worst of the 3...

Who are the most underated and overated players

i don't know about that. 380 was great but it came against Zimbabwe. I don't know too many people who'd go crazy over that.

Who are the most underated and overated players

linda, perhaps you don't realise but scores of 8* and 230 out are the same as 230* and 8 out. So in any case, Lara's 400, magnificent as it was, only counted as one not out.yes, i am aware of Ponting's 250, 240 and 200 odd, but compare that to 400, the WR. (in any case my dear, 4 double...

Who are the most underated and overated players

Last 30 matches: Lara: 3502 runs; 11 centuries; 13 fifties; 35 catches; Avg:70.02 Ponting: 3152 runs; 12 centuries; 8 fifties; 32 catches; Avg: 73.30 Lara has scored one less century but 5 extra fifties. His average is slightly lower,no doubt because he has fewer not out innings, due mainly...

    **Official** Bangladesh in West Indies

i get what you all are saying but do you realise that Sarwan was 261* and not 361*?? The record is no longer 365,375 or 380. It's a full 20 runs more. Sarwan was 140 runs away. That's tantamount to arguing with a skipper for declaring with a man on 241* when the record was 380. (Ganguly declared...
