    flair in batting

amazing that Lara's name isn't even mentioned! Lara has more flair and class than anyone in the modern game. He mixes accumulation with risk and his shots are breathtaking!

Well there's no play at the moment.....i think it will be close but honestly io thik that NZ will win......,many of our players are not accustomed to english conditions and may struggle at first before getting better.

Laxman aiming for Lara's record !

Lara scored the 400 with a SR of 70. It's not that hard but he'd have to get support and he'd have to hope that Dravid isn't captain to declare him on 399*. India play Bangladesh later this year or early next year i believe. there's an opportunity although i don't know how widely respected it...

    Best Series ever ....

1999 Series. Australia vs West Indies in the West Indies. 1st Test, Trinidad-WI 51 all out and Australia win massively. 0-1 2nd Test, Jamaica-WI bt Aus by 10 wickets after a brilliant Lara 213 and Perry's demolition of the Aussies 2nd Innings. 1-1 3rd Test, Barbados (and perhaps the greatest...

What has been the worst moment in ur country's cricket history?

that was bad as well as it saw Lara describing his capaincy as one with 'moderate success and devastating failure.' His mother was also very ill and dies soon after Lara took his break.

    Viv sacked

I agree 100%. It's about time they took the heat off Lara. As the eminent Dr. Stephen Gift PhD (a lecturer at the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine, Trinidad in the faculty of Engineering) so rightly pointed out to Tony Cozier at a recent cricket lecture at the UWI: When Lara is the...

    Greatest moment for your country?

Greatest moment for WI i would really have to say (in recent times) is 1999 Kensington Oval 3rd Test , WI-AUS 1-1 in the 4 match series WI coming off 5-0 loss to SA in previous series; Lara a captain under probation. WI all out for 51 in First Test in T&T loses by an innings and 300...

WI-93 all out to Kenya in '99 WI-25 all out to Ireland in '66 WI-47 all out to England in 2004 WI-51 all out to Australia in '99 WI-53 all out to England in 2000/01 WI-63 all out to England in 2000/01 WI-lose in 2 days to England in 2000/01 WI-5-0 whitewashes to SA and AUS in 1997 and 2000...

Top 3 tours of your country-you long for

Australia England South Africa in that order. Say the current side pays 4 match series against eah i think it'll be 8-0 or 8-1. We'd draw a couple against England and we'd beat the aussies in the last test after we've lost the first 3. lol

Rain stopped play??? Nooooo! (WI vs Ireland)

Ponting had quite a lot to say about Lara, who incidentally is the WEST INDIES CAPTAIN and about West Indian team policy. Are you suffering some short term amnesia?? It was a couple months ago around the time someone was scoring the small task of 400*.

Rain stopped play??? Nooooo! (WI vs Ireland)

Ponting should keep his trap shut....this same WI team scored a WR against them last year. I'd love to see where australia will be in 2-3 years when most of their guard is retired.....England and SA have much more staying power than australia right now.

    IRELAND frikking won!!!!! arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

**Official** 2004 Natwest Series (Eng, NZL, WI)

Lara should also be able to pass Saeed Anwar and move to 7th on the all time list. He needs a couple more centuries to break into the 20 century club. In Tests, he's 170 away from 10,000. Should he get there this series, he will be the fastest to 10,000. Lara should also pass Gavaskar who is...
