That move definitely makes more sense with the state of the match. Who was our 12th man for this match btw?

According to WA's paper, Lambert actually did replace ****ley. Lambert to replace ****ley for Blues | The Australian

Lambert has played as a bowler before. You could say its similar to say Noffke (assuming hes not in the side) replacing a WA bowler. The bowlers that bat a bit do complicate it, a batter for a bowler definitely is a no no. Nice seeing Khawaja get a start, hope he can go on tomorrow. Also good...

They are obviously confident in the draw so its a great opportunity to give Hazelwood a few overs.

Smith has been disappointing in the shorter form although doesn't help that he keeps getting moved all over the place. At least Cooper was put at 3 although he didn't get the score today, a bit more consistency with the lineup should see him perform better.

Hopes is a good finisher, he did well in his last game in terms of finishing. He is a bit suspect when the pressure is on though. As for Siddle's replacement, McKay should come into the starting 11 and McDonald into the squad. Don't need anymore bowlers with Hilfy, Holland and McKay all...

Forget Casson, its Smith time! Starc gets his man in the end, should have had Bandy earlier but Hughes dropped him.

Wow Thornely dropped from all 3 sides, I like it but didn't think our selectors would go down that path.

Congrats to McKay, good talent and he will give us a line and length bowler although Bollinger played that role very nicely.

Much better knock by Smith just a shame he couldn't go on. Hastings bowling a McDonald like spell atm. 6 overs for 6 runs.

    Mark Waugh

He had all the talent in the world and one of those batters you could watch forever. But he never really fulfilled his talent in the Test arena. He should have been a batter that averaged 50 in Test cricket not 40. I would say he lived up to his potential in ODIs.
