Can't believe Tomic complained about that, needs to grow up and stop acting like a spoilt brat. Henin through to the next round so we still got one fairytale girl. Really shocked at Clijsters performance, don't think I've ever seen her taking a thrashing like that.

    *Official* Pakistan in Australia

Two batters that were slow at times last season have started the new decade nicely. Impressed with both players so far, White looked dodgy for two balls but survived and now hes taking the attack back to Pakistan.

I'm pretty sure Smith bowled a flipper or two, before the 6 and out by Pollard, one shortish ball seem to skid onto Pollard who almost got bowled and almost edged it behind. He'll probably fall into the Watson mode if he makes the Test side where his batting is his main focus while his spin will...

    All-rounders opening the batting

Mark Taylor and Slater were the last pair to both get a wicket while opening in the match.

    aussie one day squad

Could have even gone Tait, hes in form and we may as well get him while hes hot. Plus he adds pace and takes out the need for Siddle.

Steven Smith at 5 is leaving him with too much to do. In the past 2 games hes come in 3/20 or similar with the RRR sky rockted. Should be at 3 so that hes at least he can control the RRR and he has more partners left.

Great bowling by Smith, whatever Warne did hes now produced a 5 fer for Hauritz and a 4 fer for Smith. Tassie were a batsmen short and Bailey/Birt not doing their usual didn't help. Lockyear and Paine looked great as were NSW opening pair.

They certainly like Keen in the T20s, I wonder if its to do with giving him experience or hes been called a T20 specialist.

    Harris vs. Hauritz vs. Swann

Vettori has the variation for mind, he might not get as much turn but hes got a lot of batters out with his arm ball. I haven't seen too much of Vettori on the 45th/5th day wickets but he has a number of 5 fers which indicates he can take a team apart.

    Harris vs. Hauritz vs. Swann

Hauritz is a accurate spinner but he doesn't get enough turn especially on the 4th/5th day wickets. His variations aren't good enough to make up for the lack of spin compared to Vettori and Kumble. Swann is the most attacking of the lot and his FC and Test stats show that from the amount of 5...

Ah good, SA leaving Cooper in one spot and now hes killing it again. Cosgrove is looking good, must be getting back into contention for higher honours. And Bogras is going real well this season.

Steven Smith - Will he go anywhere?

Did not thing he would make the squad this soon but looks more like experience than anything. If he makes the 11 there will be backlash in the media and more backlash if he does a McGain.

Think Smith is just there to get some experience. Geeves will play if Hauritz is injured. Although wouldn't mind getting a good look at Smith.

I just feel Siddle could use a break to sort his injury out. Ever since the Ashes he has been conceding a fair few runs which isn't what I expect from Siddle. He has shown he can have very good control at times. And his pace isn't quite where it should be, he has shown he can bowl 150km/h...

I reckon we are better off with McKay atm. Siddle is down on pace and down on wickets plus no point risking further injury. I am confident McKay can get the job done in his place.

The big problem for NSW was the inexperience in the pace attack. We could have used Cameron but I'm guessing hes injured.

Steven Smith - Will he go anywhere?

Obviously it would be better if he does it for a few balls in a row but I'm just looking at what he can do with the ball atm. As if he isn't doing much then the consistency will just make him a better containing bowler. I've only seen highlights and the odd Champions League match of him so its...

Tassie will only get better once Paine gets more games under his belt. One of the rare failures for Bailey this season and Birt followed suit.
