Yep Hauritz is going from strength to strength, hes becoming that spinner that we have wanted: control and spin.

Think we need a mercy rule, SA is being murdered. They really need a strike bowler.

Even Cosgrove bowled ahead of him.

    Test Seond innings highest averages?

Bradman with a poor 1st innings average of 97 compared to his 104 in the 2nd :) Interesting that no fast bowler dominates the bowling list, I know two spinners are way ahead in terms of overall wickets but I would have thought McGrath or Walsh would have got them in the 1st innings.

Exactly my feelings. Wouldn't mind calling both over and sending Hilfy on the plane back as well.

What pace is he bowling? Nice to see Butterworth performing with the bat.

If we are going with the latter Johnson definitely should be above Manou and maybe Hauritz too.

Doherty with a brillant spell to back up Krejza and continue his own form. Faulkner performed very well, might be enough to keep him in the side for the future.

Good to see, I like what I've seen on Starc. Looks like Khawaja will be the unlucky one unless they omit Smith.

Krejza seems to have listened to the selectors who would have thought he could go for 21 runs in 9 overs. Congrats to Ludeman on his maiden FC 50. McKay evens up the wicket count so my tip is still looking good :)

Henriques has opened for NSW so hes another option and if Hopes is fit he also is another. And if they really want to throw a spanner in the works then Johnson would be capable. I brought it up a while ago and I'm still in the green for that move. This is all assuming Marsh isn't picked, if he...

Faulkner with an early wicket, great to see. Christian sure is scoring slow for a guy that is rated as a big hitter. Ludeman is going well so far.

Victorian attack operating very efficiently already. Good chance for Christian to make some runs in FC.

That could work, Ponting definitely is concerned about not having that 6th bowling option in Hopes.

Might be worth trying Voges at 4, White should be told to fill the Symonds role and stop batting like a snail.

NSW Warner Clark It seems NSW aren't comfortable with Bird since his chucking sighting. I hope Starc gets the spot, hes a good talent.

We definitely will miss having a Hopes/Henriques as the 6th bowling option. Unless we go with Hussey as keeper which allows as to go that way.

Last thing SA needed with Ferguson already out. Will be interesting seeing how the replacement goes.

Paine averaged over 50 against India before this innings where he had to bat with a broken finger. While I agree with what you say, Paine isn't that bad. Haddin isn't the finisher, he like the rest of our batters also have an inability to rotate the strike. Our best player for that was Ferguson...

Haven't seen hitting like this in quite sometime, I just hope we don't fold and collapse.
