    Yes he has O'Rourke had him caught behind in last week's match. Averages a middling 267. Small beer compared to Mariu's season average of 367, but undoubtedly a tidy effort.

    Having watched the highlights now, safe to say that's the worst fielding day I've ever seen by an NZ side. Blundell's drop definitely the worst - not 100% sure NZ would've reviewed if it had been taken. It was Brook though, and NZ have 3 reviews, so I reckon Latham probably would've gambled one...

    Don't think so. During the India series a graphic flashed up with the catching percentages for the different teams in the current WTC, and if I recall correctly NZ were 5th. I suspect we might have slid down a rank or two after today.

    Latham absolutely pissed himself with fear the second he saw Stoakes wind up. It didn't actually come to him all that quick either. If Stoakes hits a similar chance from a text book cover drive I reckon he takes it easily.

    Pretty sure NZ hasn't had a dedicated fielding coach for quite some time. Ronchi used to do it, but then he graduated to batting coach responsibilities.
