Catches win matches, and the Heat couldn't CATCH a cold, they had the match, but if people don't believe fielding & catching don't win matches, just look at this result. Fielding in the Women's game is still the worst aspect of it, yet it's something that can easily be improved upon. Every...

    Whose signature is this

Signatures now days are an utter disgrace. Don't know why they bother. Got some in the UK this year, can't remember who signed my book, indecipherable. Don't know who that is.

To be fair, most of the overseas players were somewhat disappointing in output. Kerr won three POM awards and was very handy . Her sis was good too. Devine & Bates were disappointing, Maddy Green only made one major score. Ecclestone might have got close, but they have plenty of spinners in the...

When Did You Stop Watching Cricket?

Don't watch nearly as much as I used to. Growing up in the 80's, Border was my hero, never missed a days cricket, as the the years go by and I get older I watch less. Since Laxman retired, another favourite, I watch less cricket (might watch 10-15 min, then go do something else) Never really...

When did you start watching cricket ?

First match I watched on TV was the 5th Ashes Test in 1972 at the Oval (I was 5).Was living in Melbourne then. It was a very early live TV broadcast of cricket into Australia, remember Barry Wood getting LBW for 90 by Massie to this day, thought even then, that's bad luck.

    England tour of Australia ODIs

It's obvious that LO's which take 50 overs is to time consuming for the present day. T20 is this era's game, although with some of those matches actually taking more time to complete then they should (India, I'm talking to you), we will be getting the T10 shortly, far easier to follow, (can play...

The fielding & catching has been diabolical in some matches this year. That is one facet that can easily be fixed by constant practice, but do they actually practice this. Some horrible fielding by the Heat today, still managed to win thanks to their gun kiwi, A Kerr..

Normally I enjoy the WBBL, but have found it hard to get invested in it this year, just to early in the season for me. Infact I've found it hard to get into ANY cricket this season so far.

    Mark Waugh vs Laxman

Laxman's my favourite Non-Australian player ever, just loved watching him. Throughly enjoyed watching his performances in Australia (particularly in Sydney), didn't matter that it was against us at all. Miles ahead of Waugh IMO, although Waugh gets the nod on fielding between the two.

Group 2 (Bangladesh, India, Pakistan, South Africa, Zimbabwe, Netherlands)

What happened with those 5 penalty runs in SA's innings. How the hell does that work.? A batsman can swan around all over the crease, switch hit, no issues, but the keeper moves back which HAS NO EFFECT on play, and get's penalised. It's a BATSMAN'S game isn't it.

    All-rounder XI vs Specialist XI

    Classifying the all-rounders

Balanced All-rounder, Eddie Barlow Batting All-rounder, Garry Sobers Bowling All-rounder, Richard Hadlee. Had Mike Procter played enough Test Cricket, he would have got Barlow's spot.
