    2024–25 NZ domestic season

New Canterbury opener Scott Janett's boundaries feature another debutant, Tyler Annand. Annoying that rain is delaying the Akl v ND game. It would be good to see how Dixit goes. His one boundary looks like a good pull shot off Wagner. Didn't realise Popli and Williamson were teammates at...

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Williamson's first first class game for ND since 2019. Probably the last he will play with Southee and Wagner too. Nice article about it and having Watling as his coach: https://www.stuff.co.nz/sport/360490238/black-caps-batting-maestro-kane-williamsons-confronting-return-domestic-cricket

    England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Used one of Fleming's bats when he got his 77.

    England in New Zealand 28 Nov-18 Dec 2024 - 3 Tests

Join the club. I'm the same age as Vettori who said Southee, after he made the Black Caps, was the first player to make him feel old.

Test squad announced today. The Post seems to think Foulkes is an outside chance for the squad.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Development XI look like they will get what looked like an unlikely win. Great run chase. Stackpole did relatively well in the under 19 WC iirc.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Shayne O'Connor's son and Cam Paul, who missed the under 19 WC through injury, seem to be picking up a few wickets in the A and Development XI games.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Any ideas why Bowes batted so low in the second innings? Jacobs' sixes over long off look impressive. Auckland heading for a good win despite Blundell showing some form.

    2024–25 NZ domestic season

Based on Wagner's book he's fortunate John Wright isn't the Otago coach.

Would this be the greatest test series win of all time if NZ win?

The Black Caps 1999-2003 or so with peak Cairns and then emergence of Bond were pretty good although that 2001 series they were bailed out by rain in the 2nd test. First test was also rain affected.

Also, from SA and seems to have a similar power game.

Turned down a central contract so might have dropped down the queue.

Some nice offside boundaries from Jacobs in his first Plunkett shield game for Akl. Two of the sides that won the toss might be regretting their decisions.

I'm also happy for Mark Chapman. Must be one of the most relieved people in the world. Nothing worse than coming on as 12th man and shelling one (have done it myself).

I thought this was quite a poignant moment of Southee consoling Kohli. These two played against each other in the under 19 World Cup semi final in 2008. Williamson captained NZ, Southee was player of the tournament and Kohli was winning captain. May be the last series they play against each other.

Young had such a great series. Really happy for him.

Pant probably deserved some luck after first innings LBW which was borderline. Wow, they almost need a backstop fielder with that bounce.
