Well yes, but only because you’re copypasting the same rants about the same players as usual.I see you're trying to be an ass as usual.
Who the **** cares what Ian Chappell says about anything? The amazing thing is that I never required your agreement.
As I've said in the past, don't nearly think Bradman is twice the batsman that everyone else is. There's no doubt he was the GOAT, but he was the beneficiary of the perfect storm with regards to conditions and opponents and took full advantage.
I've also said it's not etched in stone that Sobers was no. 1, and of the countless rankings I've posted think I've had Sobers no. 1 no more than once or twice, you seem to be stuck on that one.
But also let's not pretend it's not debatable. Ian Chappell openly says Sobers is the greatest, even Keith Miller is quoted as saying Sobers was the greater player.
Additionally as I've said previously, if you have Sobers at 2nd or in the same tier as who who have second, it's an easier stretch to have him as no. 1, considering he's an ATG slip and fulfilled multiple bowling roles for his team, even if neither rose to the level of great.
That to have the 8th rated bolwer who was a slightly below test standard batsman, ranked 3rd.
