The most underrated and overrated players in CricketWeb

I see you're trying to be an ass as usual.
Well yes, but only because you’re copypasting the same rants about the same players as usual.
The amazing thing is that I never required your agreement.

As I've said in the past, don't nearly think Bradman is twice the batsman that everyone else is. There's no doubt he was the GOAT, but he was the beneficiary of the perfect storm with regards to conditions and opponents and took full advantage.

I've also said it's not etched in stone that Sobers was no. 1, and of the countless rankings I've posted think I've had Sobers no. 1 no more than once or twice, you seem to be stuck on that one.
But also let's not pretend it's not debatable. Ian Chappell openly says Sobers is the greatest, even Keith Miller is quoted as saying Sobers was the greater player.

Additionally as I've said previously, if you have Sobers at 2nd or in the same tier as who who have second, it's an easier stretch to have him as no. 1, considering he's an ATG slip and fulfilled multiple bowling roles for his team, even if neither rose to the level of great.
That to have the 8th rated bolwer who was a slightly below test standard batsman, ranked 3rd.
Who the **** cares what Ian Chappell says about anything?

I don't think it's close, Marshall and McGrath and quite clearly (imo) the two best bowlers ever, Hadlee comes closest, but nah. Don't think Imran's even in that conversation.
Marshall is best on points. Hadlee and McGrath both have cases but suggesting McGrath is clearly better is just not true, as is that Imran is not close to McGrath.

So yes Bradman is the greatest batsman ever, but what about the guy who's next in line, could catch flies and did everything imaginable with the ball? He's ATG at 2 disciplines and the most versatile ever in the 3rd.
You are better than cliches.

I remember the tail end of Viv’s career and I’ve watched plenty of footage of him in his prime.

If he’d played with modern bats he’d have possibly killed bowlers in their follow thru. No one’s hit the ball harder or further or cleaner.

I’ll die on this hill against anyone who thinks he was overrated.
Viv is underrated on this board.

Let's just say it now, if Sobers is in the same tier as Bradman as a batsman?? If no, then this comparison is silly.

Who the **** cares what you have to say about anything... See how that works?

Someone threw out a statement and I responded.

And speaking of rants, up to today you brought up Viv being behind someone when that was no where near the point of the discsussion, so don't be a hypocrite.

You responded with the same old (you have at least a big section of it copypasted by now right?) rant as you always do.

I just made a little joke about Viv. I thought it fell flat tbh, but apparently it got a rise out of you, so, great success.

Lindsay Hassett said Trumper was better than Don

Sobers said Subhash gupte was the greatest spinner too.
Also, not only one man, a total of 12 people, including Wilfred Rhodes, were asked to choose between Trumper and don. Only Rhodes chose don.
Smart fella. Bro also said the best of them today is half as good as Barnesie. (unknown date - sometime pre 1973)
