*whispers*Didn't Lara smash Murali? I think Murali's shoulder was pretty good, though I do admit he may have had a bad elbow.
Yeah, this. Warne was so often utterly mesmerising to watchI don't even care about the "Warne got stick against great players of spin" criticism. Guy was the most exciting cricketer I've watched. Just watching him going through a spell against a couple of set batsmen was pure theater.
Get the pitchforks, lads.Another guy who is dreadfully overrated is McGrath. Good bowler, but clearly not as good s Hadlee, and nowhere near Steyn or Marshall.
Moderate upgrade over Anderson, if we are generous.

In 1998 Warne had to have shoulder surgery. He had played injured through the India test series. According to Richie Benaud his shoulder was so messed up it was hanging together by a thread. Shoulder surgery is major for a spin bowler and after it Warne could never again bowl the flipper (his biggest wicket taking ball 92-97). He had other minor injuries that plagued him over the next couple off years.Lara massacred him in 1999 tour . He was dropped from AUS side due to it. Kallis had excellent record vs Warne iirc.
I mean if he was remotely serious then this is an all time terrible post since it doesn't even make sense. Jimmy's a condition reliant swing bowler, quite different from how McGrath operated.Extremely poor effort.
Not sure if that's true mate.In 1998 Warne had to have shoulder surgery...Shoulder surgery is major for a spin bowler and after it Warne could never again bowl the flipper (his biggest wicket taking ball 92-97).
don't start this againMark Waugh was a better odi opener anyway. Especially when it counted.
How did he hurt you?I disagree with Borges but approve of the anti-McGrath sentiment.
I don't think he couldn't physically do it at all, but he couldn't do it comfortably, or very often post surgery. Not sure if that's true mate.
Stephen was the one saying he couldn't physically do it at all.I don't think he couldn't physically do it at all, but he couldn't do it comfortably, or very often post surgery.
This doesn't look like a flipper to meNot sure if that's true mate.
