It's hard to be sure about that. Not sure why you're not sure tbh

does it really matter either way? The effect is the sameSo this article notes that Warne's ability to bowl the flipper was restricted, but doesn't explicitly say that he stopped bowling it altogether.
As if Siddhu, Azharuddin, Sehwag , Kambli or Laxman never existed. All of them would alone manhandle Warne out of attackI agree. if you take out SRT and Dravid then India suck, Warne smashes them and he's great again.
AWTAAnother guy who is dreadfully overrated is McGrath. Good bowler, but clearly not as good s Hadlee, and nowhere near Steyn or Marshall.
Moderate upgrade over Anderson, if we are generous.

This used to be our expression when Warne bowled against IND.
I always find this data fascinating. Below is the list sorted by matches/MoM award. There are quite a few players who have lower averages but create more impact going by the frequency of MoM awards they receive. Some players (lower order batsmen, all bowlers etc.) are at a disadvantage on this metric though.AWTA
If Tendulkar is moderate upgrade over Waugh then Mcgrath is definitely moderate upgrade over Anderson.

Also agree with this . Both equally overrated. Tendulkar particularly in test . He never had a 500 runs series in his career .Sachin and Warne are probably equally overrated by their own countrymen
why are you so insecureHere is another interesting stats . Kohli has more MOS and same MOM than Ponting in 35 % less games in international cricket

Most players are overated by their countrymen. Even if you can get past the patriotism, people rate players they have watched more of higher.Sachin and Warne are probably equally overrated by their own countrymen
Too lofty a goal. I figure I'll just start supporting more countries than ***** and we should be good. That’s true to a large extent. Very few of us are able to set that sort of thing aside. Hopefully as you mature and develop some objectivity, you’ll be able to do it, as I have.
