From all I've watched, Warne certainly still had a flipper post shoulder injury, but he struggled to land it as effectively as he could. The slider was basically just a straght ball, but he used it well, bowl a couple of ripping leggies that would beat the outside edge and then trap the batsman LBW with the one that didn't turn

"The flipper was the signature delivery of Anil Kumble of India and the Australian leg-spinner Shane Warne in his earlier years, until injury and later shoulder surgery restricted his ability to bowl flippers accurately."

So this article notes that Warne's ability to bowl the flipper was restricted, but doesn't explicitly say that he stopped bowling it altogether.

"During Warne’s career he went through a phase where he lost or didn’t bowl the Flipper due to surgery on his shoulder. It appears that because of the surgery or maybe because the Flipper was a part of the problem that led to the injury, Warne was Flipper-less for quite some time. The inference is that during the rehabilitation process Warne was either advised not to bowl the Flipper or simply couldn’t bowl the Flipper, suggesting that the strain the technique puts on the body needs to be recognized."

This excerpt suggests he only withheld from bowling the flipper during his recovery period.

If Tendulkar is moderate upgrade over Waugh then Mcgrath is definitely moderate upgrade over Anderson.

Even Sehwag has more MOM and MOS than Mark Waugh.
I always find this data fascinating. Below is the list sorted by matches/MoM award. There are quite a few players who have lower averages but create more impact going by the frequency of MoM awards they receive. Some players (lower order batsmen, all bowlers etc.) are at a disadvantage on this metric though.

That’s true to a large extent. Very few of us are able to set that sort of thing aside. Hopefully as you mature and develop some objectivity, you’ll be able to do it, as I have.

Too lofty a goal. I figure I'll just start supporting more countries than ***** and we should be good.

That’s actually a pretty good way to go about it, plus you get to watch more cricket. So win-win.
