Underrated, and harshly dealth with. If Warney's not on your side, I reckon the heirachy of the Australian team will definently fall into line with Shane.

definetly underrated IMO, certainly was unlucky to have not played after the ashes of 2002/03 despite the fact that he was actually performing in test match cricket at the time.

Yousuf is twice the batsman VVS Laxman is.And,Laxman is overrated because of his innings of 281 against Australia. For me,he comes in Chanderpaul,Flemming category
yousuf youhana doesnt deserve to be in the category of even chanderpaul and fleming. laxman does. laxmans record in australia, SA and England are far superior to Yousuf's and therefore Laxman performs far more often against the better sides than yousuf does.

I don't see how Kallis is over rated.. Hardly anyone likes him, and he's rarely mentioned as one of the best batsmen around even though he has among the best stats..
His stats are possibly the most skewed by the gimme runs from Zim and Ban though - I think it's taken his average from about 52 to 58.

Minus Zim and Bang he has 7118 runs @ 53.51 (?)

So still a 10% increase then - and similar with the ball (but I think that's more to do with him not liking to bowl in all conditions)

Under-rated and I'm serious.

Even as a Yorks supporter I'm not sure. Neither, as he was given a game as a youngun against Australia and didn't play very well.

Underrated depending on the geography of the fan - His character can take away from his ability.

Liam Plunket.....believe me I have seen him more than most on here and he is not anything special at all. Mark Davies is a better bowler and for me when all our players are fit Plunkett would not make the Durham first team. Davies, Lewis, Gibson and Harmison are our best four if all fit and ready

Andrew Jones - Never heard of him before, but he has a decent record so underrated.

Darren Lehmann
Probably slightly underrated. He had to wait a long time for a proper run in international cricket (which is understandable given Australia's strength at the time) & was disgarded maybe a touch previously, especially from ODIs where his little left-armers were sometimes useful.

Derek Pringle.

Pringle - not so sure about him, but since i have never heard of him doing too much great things mainly in ODI's for England i'd say he is rated just about right.

Or perhaps overrated, depending on the geography of the fans ?
