As above with Vaughan although would have to be up in the top 2 or 3 in the greatest batsmen ever.

Stuart Clark
Tough to say really. He looked extremely impressive in SA which made me wonder why he's only now being had a look at on the international stage at his relatively advanced (in cricketing terms) age, but when one weighs that against who he's had to displace from the test team & his reasonably ordinary FC record it becomes altogether more understandable.

On balance, given the splendid start to his test career, I'd say he's been slightly underrated by the Oz selectors at least.

I think he was/is rated about where he is.

Underrated.
Bowled always with painful knees and was a pretty decent fast-medium bowler. Definately better than Botham as a bowler in my books.

Under-rated - especially if you go off his county record and he was a fine bowler in the 90's. Always loved his action.

Rated about right in my books. An excellent batsman, perhaps even a great but not quite in the top 15 due to his lack of tests.

Whatever it takes!!!
rated about right, right now. I thought he was slightly over rated in the early 90s and very much underrated in the late 90s, but I think he is rated about right at this point.

Hmmmmm that is a hard one - personally I think he is a disgrace to cricket just like Hansie Cronje and Salim Malik for being involved in the match fixing scandal and being for life which caused me to lost a whole lot of respect for all three. That said as a batsman he was supposed to be very, very elegant, and in his prime he must have been pretty good. So as a batsman he would probably be classed as under-rated, as a cricketer, he deserves nothing.

Outstanding domestic performer, just failed to cash in on potential. Probably a bit unlucky given the depth of Indian batting talent that came through just as he was breaking into the side. Saw him smash a ton vs Warwickshire in the totesport for Lancs - awesome one-day knock.

Quality slow left arm bowler as well.

Hmmm, who to go for...
