Yeah, rained in the morning interfering with my traditional xmas morning tennis match with my old man. But as so often in Auckland, it didn't stick around too long.

Perhaps Bahnz slept in.
No I live in Wellington. Where the weather is always awesome.

3.50 pm The ground staff continue to work on the outfield, covers are still protecting the square and the umpires are still hoping to fit in a 20-over game. It isn't raining at the moment, but the issue is that more rain is forecast a little later in the evening. So, for the moment, hope springs eternal.

I think the Napier ground staff could learn a thing or two from the Queenstown ground staff. The speed which they went from rain/covers to playing is incredible.
