Leggat to get stuck in tomorrow and McLean Park's ODIs will go the same way as their Tests. :p

Not sure there's anyone at CD cricket (apart from those running on Bible power) who wants to be a part of a prosperous go-ahead organisation tbh.

All joking aside, Auckland is probably the best venue for an ODI if you want to ensure you at least get some completed game, even if shortened overs. It my rain frequently, but very rarely for hours on end and of course Eden Park is legendary for it's drainage.

Yeah, Auckland is also great if you want to see 45,000 empty seats.

It happened. Seriously, it doesn't take Sherlock Holmes to work it out. It's all over the place in the Caribbean. Can't wait to hear Ian Bishop on commentary at the next ODI.
It's all rumours though. If it really happened then I'm fairly sure Sammy would've been sent home and banned from playing again.

Heard weather will be even bad for 3rd game. I thought weather in Oceania is usually sunny and humid?
Oceania is a big place, with climates ranging from desert to tropical to sub-antarctic.

New Zealand is an island nation in the south pacific. It rains. A lot.

We mightly actually see some play tomorrow, looking at the latest forecast.

A bit of rain around midday and nothing after that. It all depends on the outfield, I suppose.

Taylor now at 3 in the ICC test batsmen rankings. Chanderpaul up to 2.

Amla falling back into the pack with the other "also ran"s (Clarke, Sangakkara and Pujara).

Lol, this is getting so damn annoying. I see Queenstown has 20% chance of rain today, 0% of Thursday, 50% on Friday, but of course 90% tomorrow (since there's cricket scheduled). From memory this is another one of those grounds with poor drainage so if it rains tomorrow, there could be significant delays.

I really think NZ cricket should start considering the drainage on grounds before scheduling. Case in point, McLean Park the other day. I get they can't predict the rain, but they should be factoring the impact on the ground if there is wet weather around. Eden park is usually good to go within 30 minutes even after heavy rain.

The forecast looks much worse now. Could be another washout.

I know schedules are really tight these days, but ODIs in New Zealand really need reserve days, imo. They have been used in the past with success.

lol @ BeeGee playing my pessimist game :p. I checked the Queenstown forecast on 2-3 different sites yesterday and this morning they are virtually the same. Occasional showers, clearing evening. Northwesterly.

What did you read that suggested it's got any worse?

weather.com.

Also, I like the look of your pessimist game. I'll see your "poor drainage" and raise you a "washout with no reserve day".
