*Official* West Indies in Bangladesh

Little happening through the air or off the pitch in the Bangladeshi innings. Tamim looks in decent touch, Naeem Islam just feeling his way into his new opening position, and has just played a lovely back foot drive through the offside off Roach for four.

Rampaul has looked the more threatening of the two opening bowlers.

Tamim goes to Bishoo's first delivery. A wide delivery, Tamim just falling off the cut shot ends up reaching a little for it, the ball doesn't turn and just skids on taking the edge, good catch from the returning Ramdin. Big blow for Bangladesh, they need to just up the run rate, won't be easy if Bishoo finds his areas, and their main hope of doing that has just returned to the shed.

Bowling powerplay predictably again at the earliest possible opportunity. With the run rate now up to seven an over, Bangladesh just have to apply some of their own pressure here and look to step it up a touch. They're not too far behind where WI were at the comparable stage, but need to see a bit more intent here.

A nice cut for four from Naeem Islam off Pollard but he really has to kick on from here, he has 34 off 63 balls.

Naeem Islam's gone, going for a big one, skewed in the air and well taken from Hyatt. It was the right idea from Naeem, he had to put his foot and throw caution to the wind, he'd used up plenty of deliveries and was delaying the potential matchwinners from getting to the crease.

Run rate required over 10 now, and the new skipper, Mushfiqur, back in the shed. Bangladesh have never really got a foothold in this chase, they started watchfully, but never really got on top of the WI attack at any point, despite the odd productive over here and there.

Bangladesh lost 3 wickets in the first 10 balls of their innings 8-)

Why do teams bother playing them?

Yes the batting doesn't look WI's strength, with Sammy returning for the injured Barath, it does give their side a slightly bowling-heavy look. Of course they'll be hoping the all-rounders such as Pollard, Ramdin, Russell and Sammy give them enough with the bat, and in all honesty, it probably will be enough against Bangladesh. It looks like they'll be chasing a moderate total (though I'm not aware how the pitch is playing exactly), of which Bangladesh will be thankful to their skipper, Mushfiqur, and a few important cameos form the mid-lower order. To lose Tamim, Kayes and Ashraful for a single run would not have been in the script.
