With the minor difference that Ponting isn't scoring FC runs, whilst Chanderpaul is.

But if you are saying just having a good first class record means your gonna be good at international cricket that is something I have to kindly disagree with.

When I say he is not in good form in international cricket "look at his first class record." When I say first class isn't the same level as international cricket "look at his international record." :dry:

Its mind boggling to think that a player who has been in bad form in international can struggle at the opposition's home ground? Sure its Bangladesh but even class players in form have failed to perform there sometimes.
Ponting is scoring ODI runs and has shown good form. If you are giving first class leeway here then why not ODI?
