*Official* West Indies in Bangladesh

Piss poor attitude and there are players with more potential and better form. His bowling has been subpar for a while and his batting woeful.
He didn't strike me as one of those douche bag cricketers. It's sad that his game has fallen off over the years. He looked world class material early on in his career.

Bangladesh have finally got a wicket, well they've now got two in one over, but it took till the 42nd over! Both men that were set have gone, Simmons for 122 and now Samuels for 71, both to Rubel Hossain. Might just peg WI slightly back, although Pollard is now at the crease. They're 224-2 off 42 overs, so 300 still a possibility.

West Indies looks so much better with no Sammy
Yes He may have done quite well of late, but I fully agree, the attack looks so much more potent and threatening. Think there is a place for an economical bowler like him on certain tracks, but the fact he has kept bowlers like Kemar Roach out of the side on occasions is pretty ridiculous.

The bowling attack is pretty good. Tipping a big Windies win with Rampaul cleaning up. His been in tremendous form

The attack is pretty decent, big fan of Kemar Roach, but as you say, Rampaul may be well prove Bangladesh's biggest danger. Looks like they'll be chasing around 300, so in terms of keeping up with, or getting ahead of, the run rate, Tamim Iqbal will be important in getting them off to a decent start.

The 3 replacements for WI today are much better than the incumbents.

Nice change of pace does from Shafiul does for Bravo, slower off cutter just clips the off stump. Nice cameo from Bravo, Pollard still the key here for getting WI up to 300, but he's just needed some attention to his shoulder that he seems to have strained going for a humongous six.

Pollard goes in the last over for a powerful 41 off 25 deliveries, three wickets now for Rubel.

Has the new-ball-at-each-end idea been put into place for this this series?
Yes all the new rules are in place. The no-runner rule has been applied today as Barath had to retire hurt with a hamstring problem. Also the new times when the powerplay can be taken, from the bowling there wasn't too much difference as they still took it as soon as the rules allowed.

Good to see Shafiul is looking mildly promising again.
Didn't see opening burst, but his comeback spells were not particularly eye-catching. Seemed down on pace to me, though he did bowl a lot of slower balls, his accuracy wasn't great either, epitomised by Simmons taking him for 21 in a single over.

Yeah he has some serious accuracy problems but he can get up to some decent pace and has a few tricks in the bag. He just seems like the sort of guy that can grow into a proper bowler.

Urgh just noticed the Bangladeshi batting lineup. It was a serious mistake to play Nasir ahead of Hom.

I had similar hopes of him when I first saw him bowl, but perhaps I was expecting too much too soon, he is still only 22 and has plenty of scope for improvement and ample time to do so. Will wait to watch him in a Test before I make any judgements on his improvement, or lack of, as a Test bowler.

Cricinfo claim Bangladesh have the batting line-up to chase this down, I'm not so sure myself, will depend on Tamim going big, imo. Won't be easy against Roach, Rampaul and Bishoo especially.
