Harris & Nevin should forget about playing for NZ again, and maybe Vincent too in ODI's.

Clarke's bowled 2 overs for 14 runs. I guess he's a big scalp hunter, back up by the theory that New Zealand are playing like a crappier unit than usual. Give him a decent target and it'll be beautifully flighted, hit halfway up middle and off!

That is absolutely disgraceful batting from an experienced player.
with 15 overs to go, NZ were in a decent position to get close to 200 & Harris plays a reckless shot.

Its about time NZ looked to the future, instead of constantly picking under-performers.

Obviously pathetic batting from NZ. But on a more positive side of things, well done Brad Williams first five wicket haul ever in ODI's! Great stuff!

Im willing to give some leniency to NZ because they've batted in difficult conditions, but when your most experienced player lofts a ball straight down the throat of a fielder, he's really asking for trouble.

I'm very interested to see how NZ bat on the D/N wicket against India on the 6th..presumably it won't move around as much, and if NZ cough up then aswell..well they deserve to go home with their tails between their legs.

NZ aren't a bad side, they won an ODI series against S.L & Pak only a few months ago..but they've been extremely disappointing in this series.

Oram's not getting nearly enough strike. That's a good way to lose the tail and make absolutely no runs.
He should be working the tail now, there's not much happening for them.

Nah it'll be ok, McCullum & Vettori are aggressive players..oh look & McCullum hits a 6.

I think NZ should just go down guns blazing & maybe fluke 200...at least then it'll give Australia 20 or 30 overs of batting.

To me it doesn't seem there's any point to lasting the 50 overs now. Tim's right, guns blazing it should be. If they get runs, they get runs, otherwise they're not really in any worse a position.

What a way to settle the nerves! McCullum on 4 and NZ in trouble, so of course the best solution is to belt a six off the bowler who has taken 5 wickets! :P

Well Oram has stood up today..he was under pressure batting so high up the order, but he's done better than Cairns so he'll be happy about that.

Yep Orams just made a well compiled 50, well done. Thats good stuff mate, now just take your team to 200. Actually don't i want the Aussies to win very quickly.

Well if he does, it'll get NZ close to 250...but if he can bat long enough to get us to 220, he'll have done a good job.

McCullum is definately going after everything....regardless of what NZ get, I don't think we'll have any confidence to bowl Aus out.
