Ponting plays murili very well i've noticed..

don't think he's ever been out to him in a test? apart from in this first innings..

Except that today's decision that was referred to the 3rd Ump was pretty close and I am not sure why that was given not out .

Hawk Eye was not available or not shown , but looked pretty close having straightened after pitching !!

Ponting who had no idea that the ball had in fact straightened instead of holding its line and heading to leg , exchanged some harsh words with Taufel !! :D

And even the Hayden LBW that was referred and given not out by 3rd Ump -was shown by Hawk eye to be out .

I expect a declaration some time tomorrow morning or late in the 3rd session. That gives the World XI plenty of time to get themselves all out before the close of 4th days play. :D :D

Nah, they'll be looking to bat for as long as possible, even to the end of tomorrow. That gives Warne and MacGill two days to bowl them out on a 5 and 6 day old SCG pitch

The ball didn't straighten at all.. it looked like it would have continued on and probably just hit leg stump or missed my a little..

It pitched right dead in the strike zone believe me he would have been out plum if it had straightened even at all..

I think he does pick the one that goes the other way.

I expected that considering Hair is the 3rd umpire and we all know how he feels
about Murali

The first three balls of this over are three good reasons why Sangakkara should be 'keeping this match.

And with the fourth ball, a pretty shaken-looking Katich is out! Geez, what an over! High-standard stuff!

Heh, I see Freddie has upped his speed to Gilchrist. You get the feeling he enjoys bowling to him. :)

And they just showed the Murali catch off Kat and his face as the ball came towards him; classic! As soon as it was hit, Murali's face said "Hah! GOTCHA!"

Muralitharan to Gilchrist, OUT: The magician strikes again! Murali
gets one to turn, bounce, kiss the outside edge and Kallis pouches
the catch at slip. This is pure magic from one of the great
spinners of all time

I won't be comfortable with a lead under 400, personally. Still a good pitch, and the World XI aren't exactly a poor batting side.

well i slept through the entire 1st session but now i'm seeing some really top class bowling from Murali, if R.O.W keep the aussies below a 400 lead this could be an interesting chase, but with the turn Murali is getting now Warne & MacGill will be licking their lips to have a bowl now.
