I haven't really been following the match so I just noticed the World XI lineup, no Pollock? Seems rather foolish to me to go into a Test match in Australia with one specialist seamer, even if it is the SCG. The World XI selectors showing a bit too much faith in Kallis' bowling ability I guess. At least it'll keep JASON relatively happy.
No it won't. I did not say that they should go with 1 seamer or without Pollock. I think you are misinterpreting what I said deliberately or otherwise I am not sure.

All I said was Kallis or Pollock should be one of the guys left out of the Team. But that did not mean dropping Pollock and Akhtar !!

thats not out, cant see anything conclusive....
Very rough decision.. I think they must have thought he got a bit of bat on it as it hit the pad. On one replay I thought I heard two noises but very inconclusive.

You can have as much technology as you want, but they still can't seem to get it right. I couldn't see anything there that proved it hit the glove or bat, it looked a lot more like forearm.

Actually it turns out it was a great decision. Snicko confirmed that it was indeed out.

Snicko shows an inside edge on the Clarke call. I wonder why we didn't see that earlier? On the earlier evidence alone I thought it might have been dubious, but that's good enough for me.

Aaargh - Katich run-out for a duck...

nahh not lucky, that ball was at least a foot away from dravid's hand..

Do you think he meant to guide it between the keeper and first slip? He's good but he's not that good.

Thats twice that hayden has top edged the sweep shop. Smith should know thats how Hayden like to play the spinners to dominate. If he had at least one more attacking option around squareleg to backward square hayden would be forced to play in different areas.

Dumb captaincy Smith !!
