WOW. Harmy nearly crushes Langer's toes, then destroys his stumps. So much for the short stuff - although Ponting's on his way, cut cheek and all....... :p

Just said it again so he must believe it. Bit surprising I agree although I'd like to think Vettori is in the top 4. But that's his opinion I guess.
Yeah he repeated it which again made my face mould into a  look.

I think Vettori is in the top 4, and its not that far fetched if people believe he's better than Kumble (whilst I don't exactly agree), but how anyone can think MacGill is a better bowler than Kumble is beyond me. I'm no MacGill basher like others, but that is ridiculous. Anyway as you said, its his opinion so fair enough.

what is with the disgusting off-white colour of the australian's test shirts?! it's very noticeable especially when you then see the bright white world xi ones.

in a way murali was the cause of Ponting's demise, as he misfielded that allowed Ponting to get strike. :D

Their called "creams". They're worn everywhere in Australia, except, seemingly, Queensland...

i dont know about you people but i reckon the idea of the umpire going to the 3rd umpire for help if he isn't sure should be persisted with....

has my man Mark said i reckon freddie is in 2nd or 3rd gear rather than 5th or 6th, the ashes must have sucked him out. But regardless of that looking at England's 2 best bowlers here i reckon they will less effective (especially Freddie) but they will have a lot of bounce.

secondly i dont see why the R.O.W selectors played an extra batsman instead of the extra bowler, they could well & pay for that later on...

I haven't really been following the match so I just noticed the World XI lineup, no Pollock? Seems rather foolish to me to go into a Test match in Australia with one specialist seamer, even if it is the SCG. The World XI selectors showing a bit too much faith in Kallis' bowling ability I guess. At least it'll keep JASON relatively happy.

I think the captain selects the final XI, so its Greame Smith showing too much faith in Kallis and not enough in Pollock, it seems
