Manly are stupid. Big name players don't exactly equal performance. Monaghan is mostly part of the reason the Eagles are at the top of the table, why get rid of him? Dorks!broncoman said:

It's not always about the money. Hodges wanted back in Brisbane because he preffered the lifestyle in Brisbane (who could blame him!). Kimmorley wanted out of Melbourne because he wanted to be back in Sydney. Morrison wanted to move back to Sydney to get more exposure to get a game for N.S.W. Lyon hated Brian Smith so he quit. The sides for the second origin game will be named today. There will be some interesting selections I think, with a few Queensland players under injury clouds and NSW to sought out some postitions.

That what you call fan power, i heard that there was people calling the football club all day after it was announced that he wasn't going to get a offer. On a side note they seem to still want Orford and they are thinking about moving Monaghan to hooker. Could mean bye, bye for favorite son Chad Randell if that the case.Mister Wright said:

Dispointed that Watmough got dumped he did nothing wrong and has been in better form then Simspon. Surprised they didn't go for another front rower, Kite starting to play really good for us, coming back to his Dragons form of last year. Should be interesting to see how Anasta and Barrett combine.broncoman said:
