That Zimbabwe have played Test cricket more recently in Oz than Bangladesh is baffling.
Tad harshAlyssa Heavy is a dish
Yeah I feel at this point Sri Lanka is a worse team than Bangladesh or the West Indies.Bangladesh or Afghanistan would probably be better tbh. It's stupid that we refuse to host Bangladesh at any stage but give SL prime time series every few years.
A better sledger than her lesser- known husband too.Alyssa Healy is a dish
They blanked us in SL. I'm happy to wait a little longer to repay the favour.Genuine question - if the two sides just shook hands now and agreed to call off the rest of this match, would anyone actually care? I seriously doubt anyone would.
That's what's known in scientific circles as The SL Tour Effect. Turning even the most rabid cricket fanatics off the game since 1985.
I think the current WI side would beat this Australian team out here and over there.Yeah I feel at this point Sri Lanka is a worse team than Bangladesh or the West Indies.
Yeah, it's the same type of personality disorder which allows you to sledge the **** out of someone all day, but say "Shot mate" when the bloke you've been into crisps a cover drive for four (with apologies to the Grade Cricketer).I love how fast bowlers act super tough after a bouncer that a batsman narrowly evades, but if they actually connect with the body it's suddenly time be mortified and concerned?
It's a bit strange psychology wise
I get you're not trying to harm the batsman, but can you be surprised at the outcome?
Home ground advantage is substantial for England against this Australian side imo. The batting line up doesn't play the moving ball well at all. Smith (and to a lesser extent in england, Warner) will obviously strengthen it, but I don't know if it will be enough. The bowling should keep Australia competitive, provided they adjust to the Duke ball. Richardson could be a real find in those conditions. He's a faster, better looking, non-condition reliant Anderson really. With WI thrashing England and Australia hammering SL, who carries the favourites tag going into the Ashes? So far, I thought it will be England but the tables are turning.
England have beaten the West Indies at home once since the 1960s. Despite the West Indies being rubbish for two decades, England have not been able to beat them reliably in the West Indies. With WI thrashing England and Australia hammering SL, who carries the favourites tag going into the Ashes? Yeah I recall England even at their strongest in recent times bafflingly struggle to beat some very weak Windies teams over there.
