*Official* Sri Lanka in South Africa 2011/12

Yes would have been a psychological blow against Sanga too.

But there's always a silver lining to a likely heavy loss like this - useless ballast is released.

Surely this is the last test the board will hold at Durban. Nobody turns up and the hosts can't play for quids at this venue.
Sold out day 1, good crowd yesterday and no one turned up today as the forecast was bad and the home side got bowled out for 160 odd on a good batting track. Don't blame them.

I saw huge gaps in the crowd. Cape Town and Centurion seem to have been much better patronised.

In any case the home side performs so badly here you wonder if the board can afford to keep playing tests at the venue as maybe the horrible showings are part of the local turn off factor.

Sri Lanka should win easily from here. Strange for the debutant, brilliant personal display but part of a side losing heavily at home to a crap team who haven't won a match in ages. Guess that is why we love cricket so much.

But there's the Durban factor. SA would probably struggle against Zimbabwe here.

Tahir shouldn't be bowling no balls.

Chandimal a dangerous player. Must be galling for SA to know its keeper is a liability with the bat.

As a Sri Lankan fan, I think South Africa are in front in this match.
You're kidding. Sri Lanka has it in the bag. SA's batting is inconsistent and it has an awfully long tail and a weak keeper.

Had Boucher not stuffed up the Sanga chance, SL could have been in trouble but Boucher has a habit of hindering his team at the moment.

So far he hasn't really played like it this series. If Boucher wasn't so incompetent he would have had four single figure scores. Looked all at sea in bowler-friendly Centurion.

Kallis is bowling nonsense. Looks like he has given up. And as for Smith he looks fat. This is embarassing.Vernons perfomances have been hiding the serious chinks in our armour. I feel sorry for the bowlers, you do your job so well and people f up!!.

Looks like the Saffers are allowing SL to win their first test for some time. And away success has been rare. An indictiment on the home team but then again they've habitually put in poor home performances in recent times. Kirsten hasn't had an impact as yet.

As for Kallis and bowling, he's only the fourth seamer in name only. He's been ordinary for a few years now save for the odd good spell.

three stoaways in our boat. Prince, Rudolph and Boucher must go, but knowing the selectors, im willing to bet that Boucher will be safe. Now its Time for Hudson to show some balls. By the way, do we really need to have a spinner in our conditions? Maybe Tahir is suited for the sc. Either way, changes have to be made to our batting line up, the middle order is woeful. Come to think of it, we been going to battle with less than 6 guys contributing. Shameful
Not against SL / IND. But if non SC team was batting Tahir would have run circles round them by now with that turn and bounce.
