I saw huge gaps in the crowd. Cape Town and Centurion seem to have been much better patronised.

In any case the home side performs so badly here you wonder if the board can afford to keep playing tests at the venue as maybe the horrible showings are part of the local turn off factor.

Looks like the Saffers are allowing SL to win their first test for some time. And away success has been rare. An indictiment on the home team but then again they've habitually put in poor home performances in recent times. Kirsten hasn't had an impact as yet.

As for Kallis and bowling, he's only the fourth seamer in name only. He's been ordinary for a few years now save for the odd good spell.

By the way, do we really need to have a spinner in our conditions? Maybe Tahir is suited for the sc. Either way, changes have to be made to our batting line up, the middle order is woeful. Come to think of it, we been going to battle with less than 6 guys contributing. Shameful
