how much would guys like cena and triple h get payed
I would say that the main eventers would be earning between 1 - 4 million a year
In order of how much I think they would earn:
Triple H
Undertaker
Shawn Michaels
Kurt Angle
John Cena/Batista

A lot would count on how long they have been with the WWE.

Triple H gets payed around 3 million a year, plus travel and accomadation costs.

On the other end of the scale, Maria gets 40 grand a year, not including any of the other stuff. So basically, nothing.

An email from the Torch:

This is an email that a hotel employee in Chicago sent in.

The valet parking for the wrestlers was behind the hotel, instead of in the main entrance. WWE explained this to each wrestler. When Randy Orton arrived with his girlfriend he came to the front entrance. Our valet attendant, Nestor, explained that for security reasons he had to use the designated valet area. Orton replied "f**k you, if you think I am going to drive back there!" Orton went to the front desk and asked me for his keys. I told him that all WWE personnel had to report to the green room, a special room designated for WWE staff to check in and get their keys. His answer was "f**k THAT, YOU GIVE ME MY f**kING KEYS NOW!" I calmly and with a line of 10 people behind him, gave him his keys. Then he went to the green room. When he got there they also gave him keys, the ones he was supposed to receive in the first place. He came back to the front desk yelling "Which f**king key is going to work now?" All this because he didn't follow his group's instructions.

I again gave him new keys, but I was already upset. When he went to the room, he forgot to record the name of his girlfriend as a guest, in case she needed to enter the room and didn't have a key. He called the operator and told her he needed to talk to "f**kING ____" (the name of the employee sending this in) from the front desk. The operator complained to management about this. I talked to him and he gave me his girlfriend's name. The Valet Parking attendant also complained to management. I unfortunately was fired, for getting snappy with him, for giving him his keys without asking for ID, even though I recognized him. After this incident I also gave keys to Tommy Dreamer and Super Crazy, and only because I was already rattled.

My ex-supervisor just called me and confirmed that the suspension was because he insulted me, the operator and the valet parking attendant. He said our marketing director Andy Rosenquist talked to WWE and thus the suspension. I ended up on the losing side, because in the security video I was shown flipping Orton off.

In other notes, Carlito was in character as he walked thru the lobby, with an apple. WWE had the hotel exclusively to them Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and had a ring set up in the ballroom.
And a summary of a Meltzer article:

The PWTorch Newsletter reports that Randy Orton has been fined by WWE multiple times for using the “C-word” to insult women behind the scenes in WWE, however has not taken it seriously. His attitude towards WWE’s rules and punishment is said to be what got him suspended this time.

"He's lucky he didn't get fired. He has a lot of growing up to do. It was just stupid - disrespectful to the boys and the company." Says one WWE source about his latest incident. "Undertaker despises him, and Ric Flair, Kurt Angle, Chris Benoit, and even Triple H have grown tired of his act. They barely tolerate him."

Orton’s disrespectful treatment of women is said to be what has turned most people backstage against him. As previously reported, he is the most disliked person in the locker room right now.
I hope this ends his push. Messing with Taker, Naitch and Trips backstage is career suicide in WWE.

Good or bad, John Cena seems to be a crowd magnet who are either baying for his blood or are supporting him. Although there seems to be a good 90%-10% group of people who actually want him to lose.

.
Yep, like it or not he's easily the most over guy in the company. Whether the reactions are good or bad he's the one who brings the most out of people. Don't expect him to drop down the card anytime soon. 90/10 is a little over the top though. Although all the smarks despise him and a lot of the younger male audience, women and the children love him still and his chain gang ******** still sells big for the WWE. Which may be the main reason for keeping him as a face. One thing's for sure; theyve invested huge on Cena and he's not going away anytime soon.

EDIT: The WWE have also signed Davey Boy Smith's son Harry, according to his weblog. They reckon he's the best British talent going around now. Great news to see the Bulldog's son back!

the davey boy jnr news item has not been confirmed yet by WWE, one would think the WWE would make a big thing about it.

Wouldn't all the wrestlers get free accommodation
Nope. Considering the amount of money the company makes, the wrestlers get pretty shoddy treatment, unless you are Triple H

That's great news. I remember reading an interview with William Regal, and he thinks Harry is the next big thing when it comes to Professional Wrestling. He's apparently just like his dad in the ring with shades of Bret Hart and a young Chris Benoit, yet they say he also understands the business unlike a lot of young performers today.

He's getting to skip the WWE Developmental Process at OVW, so he must be pretty damn good and Vince and Hunter probably see a fair amount in him. There's talk of him being paired up with Chris Benoit on screen as his young 'student' (like Shelton Benjamin with Kurt Angle when he came in), which would be a nice way for the WWE to introduce him to the fans as a legitimate performer due to the amount of respect everybody has for Chris Benoit.

Other Interesting News...

John Cena may be headlining against Rob Van Dam at the ECW PPV this summer as part of a plan to turn him full-fledged heel soon after. Originally, the widespread believe in WWE was that Triple H would want to headline the ECW PPV as a heel against ECW's own RVD in a title defense. However, because Hunter may be turned babyface, they don't want to put Hunter in a position to be booed badly by an ECW crowd since it could be too fresh in people's minds when they try to turn him. Instead, the thought is Cena would get booed by nearly 100 percent, if not 100 percent, of the ECW crowd whether he enters as an "official" babyface or heel, and that could be used as a further impetus for his eventual change in attitude to full-fledged heel. A dark horse candidate is Edge, who could win the title at Backlash and headline against RVD at the ECW PPV.

Interesting take on the situation. This is exactly what I would do, building up Triple H as your face only to be taken apart by the ECW crowd is not a good way to go. Cena's popularity is really taking a dive and if the long term WWE plan is to make him heel, let him keep the belt up until July and let him continue to bore the audience.

I can imagine the ECW faithful completely booing John Cena out of the building, especially since their favourite son, RVD is challenging for his first ever WWE Championship. I could also see Edge getting massive boos from the ECW crowd, but most people probably respect him for his wrestling ability. Cena however would get the most hostile reception anybody could ever get with an ECW crowd.

I caught the end of Smackdown a couple of nights ago... Who was that guy that came out to deal to the Undertaker? He was huge.
