Bit of a letdown considering it was a Mania, but a good show nonetheless.

Great to see Rey and RVD win but the match itself was way too short. The three of them could've produced a spectacle equivalent to the Benoit v Trips v HBK ME, but they weren't allowed the time to do so. GReat fairytale win for Rey though, he'll probably be in a program with Kurt after he tapped out without the ref seeing him.

Money in the Bank stole the show again, Shelton's performance was outstanding all throughout and Lashley's Mania debut was super impressive too. Big props to Finlay as well, he's such an underrated worker and a grerat team player all round. A lot of the younger guys will benefit by having him around the lockeroom. Dunno what Naitch was doing in this match, his spot should have gone to Carlito or Kane.

Edge and Foley was majorly brutal and Edge put in a top class performance here. Why they ever took the title off him I will never know. Mick looked very rusty at times in the ring today, but he contributed to an excellent match nonetheless. These two have such good chemistry togethor it's a shame they couldn't have started their feud a lot earlier. Had the makings of a classic but in the end turned into an entertaining match.

Onto HBK, I really don't like the guy at all, but you've got to give him credit for his performance today. Absolutely phenomenal the way he carried Vince. He was able to tell a magnificent story and love him or loathe him, HBK always delivers on the big stage. This match exceeded all expectations for me and it was all down to Shawn.

Now Trips v Cena. The crowd were on fire for this one no doubt but the way this match and feud was booked was terrible IMO. Having your top babyface booed for months makes your promotion look amateur and ever since Cena won back the title he's had Trips absolutely bury him dead on the mic every Monday night. This result made no sense to me and the question of where to go from here now arises. Do they continue a feud which no-one patently arises and if nbot what do they with Cena? Do they turn him heel as anyone he now faces will automatically be turned face by the crowd. Have they built any credible ready made title contenders who can make the move up? Cena's already buried Edge by making him tap clean and Trips killed RvD's momentum stone dead when he won the Road to Wrestlemania tournament. If both of those two guys are gonna step up again they need to be slowly built up again to reach the same momentum they had before.

The only candidate I can see who's worthy of stepping up is HBK but do the fans really want to see him competing for the strap again? This next draft is going to be very interesting. I didn't think I'd say it for a long time but RAW really needs some help now, Smackdown has been the far superior brand for a long time now and in comparison to RAW seems fresh interesting and offers a bit for all types of wrestling fan. It's incredible how Vinnie could let his flagship program go under like this. I find RAW unbearable to watch nowadays but look forward to every SD coming up. It'll be even better when Batista comes back into the title picture.

HBK and HHH to reunite DX tommorow night on Raw and take the title off Cena. Just a hunch, only signs being HBK and HHH both doing the DX crotch sign in their matches, apparently.

Oh, I forgot to mention that there is some good news and that they're possibly going to start building a Hogan-Austin feud for next year's Mania. It's the ultimate dream amtch, the buyrates would be through the roof for it.

Also, can't wait for the HOF induction DVD to come out. Gotta see Bret's speech and Austin's speech about Bret. Apparently Trips refused to clap Bret as he was being inducted, but at least Flair showed some class and acknowledged Bret. Fair play to him.

Where have you been getting this information? An Austin Hogan feud would indeed be exciting but the WWE will probably screw it up and make it into a two week feud before some random PPV

They teased it at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony, but it's been on the cards for a long time. Austin has said he's really keen on the idea but Hogan seemingly isn't. The biggest problem is convincing either of them to do the job. Writing a finish on that storyline that satisfies both men would be incredible.

Hmm ok, true about the result. I would rather they take their time and sort it all out, and make it something to remember

Randy Orton has been suspended for 60 days by the WWE. Rumour has it that it's a failed drugs test, but it might also be another disciplinary indiscretionfrom him. Either way this is a big blow for Smackdown.

what an idiot.. hard to believe this??
How do u know all this anyway??
It's on WWE's website...

Orton's proving to be quite the idiot backstage. There's been plenty of stories about him harassing the female WWE workers, his arrogant attitude and now this, suspended for unprofessional conduct. I get the feeling though he might have failed the WWE Wellness drug tests that were just carried out a couple of weeks ago. Looks like Orton's out of the mainevent scene for a while now.

On the subject of today's Raw,

It was a good show and the chemistry between Triple H and Edge is fantastic. I would actually be happier with a Triple H/Edge feud rather than have Cena in there all the time. It's amazing how unpopular John Cena is and how much he has hogged the WWE Championship over the last 13 months. Cena makes me cringe every single time he comes out, and he's getting his head taken off by the crowd too.

It's awesome to see how popular Triple H has become. I think he's gotten to a point like Kurt Angle or Ric Flair in that he'll always be cheered by a section of the crowd out of respect no matter if he's a good guy or a bad guy. I enjoyed his promo today with Edge and Cena and I must say Triple H has been a very entertaining and interesting character as of late.

The problem is John Cena though, do they turn him heel?

I must say it's an awful lot of fun to see Cena continue to be his pitful self, the more they continue with the same old Superman Cena who can only execute 5 moves, the more fun it is to boo him which is why the booing will not stop. It's an interesting situation because even though he's beeing booed, people are paying to see him lose and lose big time. That way he's getting great crowd responses.

Good or bad, John Cena seems to be a crowd magnet who are either baying for his blood or are supporting him. Although there seems to be a good 90%-10% group of people who actually want him to lose.

I though can't stand the guy and ideally would want to see Edge with the WWE Championship. Although I wouldn't mind if Triple H won either. Cena needs to lose the belt and go back to the midcard.

Interesting analysis. However, i would like to see someone else brought into the fray for contention to the belt. Though im not sure who
