Nah, TNA doesn't generate high buyrates and although I would agree that it seems a decent card, RVD V Abyss is hardly mainstream main event material. Where would it sit on the Summerslam card? Somewhere just above Alicia-Melina perhaps.Watched some of it, seemed like such a waste not to genuinely hire these talents and incorporate them into the TNA product. The original PPV which is being shown as Impact, this week, has a tremendous card which may have really racked up high buy rates.
Yeah I tried to print screen it paused. Has worked for me on my laptop before though, but I am on someone else's atm.Yeah watched the segment on the 'E website, cracked up when Jericho dragged Young across the ring flailing punches at him, was awesome. Also GIMH were you trying to prt-scrn the video? it always comes out black if you do that, the BMP is black as well for me.
He is okay, but does lack a personality - he doesn't seem like he could be a big heel or face, either way, seems quite bland.Henning is an absolute guarantee for a contract surely. Imagine the others mentioned are as well.
I'd say Husky Harris is the best, followed by Kaval/Riley/Hennig who are on the same level, imo. Harris has a certain 'it' factor whereby you take notice of him. He has the unique build but he can work in the ring and is clever with what he does. It all depends whether his diversions from the NXT challenges have been scripted, but if they haven't, then it is clever that he refused to do a promo about 'doorknob' and that he did the obstacle course challenge methodically (tackling the highest hurdle and doing proper pressups) rather than quickly and sloppily. These sort of things make you take notice of him and so I think he can be a big star. Would not want Watson to win NXT, but any of the other four and I wouldn't be too bothered, I just hope they are all used properly when they do get to the big time.I thibk he's the best of the lot personally
Ugh, forgot Kaval somehow, he's actually clearly the best, am already dying for him and Rey Rey or Evan Bourne to mix it up.I've not actually seen a lot of any of the roster, not on NXT anyway. Saw a load of Low-Ki from his XPW days and other stuff. Have always assumed Hinnig was good though, has been getting a lot of hype for a while now.
Hmm, this whole series has been scripted, IMO (no evidence for this). I felt in series one parts were off the cuff but this time it all seems quite scripted and staged. I know it's pro-wrestling but series one really mastered the worked shoot. It's why I was so attached to the first series tbh.I'd say Husky Harris is the best, followed by Kaval/Riley/Hennig who are on the same level, imo. Hennig is very old school with his personality, or lack thereof, and I'm unsure whether or not that will work. He is a normal person, in the wrestling business like Bret Hart, rather than a larger than life personality, like his father, for example. This doesn't preclude him from success, but means he will have to work hard and perhaps pay his dues for several years to gain the love and respect of the fans.
Surely the challenges are not entirely scripted. No one would ever give Titus O Neil "make it a win" or give Eli Cottonwood that moustache promo, which I loved from a British humour standpoint but which just came across as someone not being able to give a promo - though it was a difficult topic.Hmm, this whole series has been scripted, IMO (no evidence for this). "I don't have one...I have the best moustache" is now my favourite moment in WWE history.Have tuned into NXT once in a while for 10 mins or so. That mustache guy was weird as hell.
I felt the promo challenge seemed waaaaaaaay scripted...compare it to the first series where even guys that were competent on the mic looked stupid except for Wade...that was the moment they decided to give it to him I think.Surely the challenges are not entirely scripted. BTW, a lot of people that I come across hated Lucky Cannon with a passion, is that the case on CW?
It is interesting to contrast Daniel Bryan and Kaval. Bryan lost every match, Kaval has two wins on NXT, Bryan was made to look like an idiot on the mic and Kaval got to make out with Leyla.
