Any wrestling promotion with Sean Waltman as their major star seriously has problems. Either way it'll be interesting if they take off but it doesn't look promising. If they can get some free agents like Carlito, Shelton Benjamin and Mickey James along with some well known independent stars then it might get some people to watch them.Interesting. Massive lol at the last paragraph though.
Yeah, entirely this. That letter to Taylor was downright worrying though, makes you wonder if pool old Jim is genuinely insane.Jim Cornette is up there with McMahon and Heyman as one of the great wrestling minds. He's just a bit loopy and can sometimes have too much longing for the way things used to be, IMO.
Yes, I do get that feeling sometimes, but you wonder if any of the modernisms that he oppose are really worth it. Guests hosts really detract from the show, overblown opportunities for wrestlers to show off their acting ability often fail miserably (rather than a simple promo) and overbooking (rather than a simple finish) rarely leaves the fan excited, more confused as to who has actually won.Jim Cornette is up there with McMahon and Heyman as one of the great wrestling minds. He's just a bit loopy and can sometimes have too much longing for the way things used to be, IMO.
I'd hardly call it generic hype. It's the first cage match since 97 where they have actually used the cage for the right reason.Yeah, entirely this. That letter to Taylor was downright worrying though, makes you wonder if pool old Jim is genuinely insane.
As for the claim that the Nexus cannot interefere in a cage match, well...just generic hype spewed by the E, cage matches are amongst the most widely interefered in. Hopefully they do a Kurt Angle special and try (fail) to rip the door off.
Agree with this. He is a wrestling genius but not so much in other aspects.Jim Cornette is up there with McMahon and Heyman as one of the great wrestling minds. He's just a bit loopy and can sometimes have too much longing for the way things used to be, IMO.
