Yeh, it was pretty good. Good to see Sheamus get some ring time before the inevitable finish. Sheamus' in ring segment was pretty solid too, I did think he'd actually give up the title.
The whole anonymous GM thing seems interesting, as does the whole "Vince was behind it, but not anymore" angle. My money is on the anonymous GM being Daniel Bryan, but being kept off TV and unnamed until the heat from his firing cools off. The whole Michael Cole laptop thing seems like something which could go on for a while.
As for Bret no longer being the GM, I think it was for the best - he had really lost any mic ability he once had. It can also help set up a future Hart Dynasty Vs NXT 7 feud too.

More Daniel Bryan chants on Raw last night, WWE will surely have to resign him once his no compete 60 days is up.

Hope there is some Ralphus coverage & Greenberg promos really laugh out loud stuff at the time. Shame there is the blank out on Benoit matches cos I reckon it must cost at least 4 or 5 from the DVD.

The no compete clause is to stop other companies with TV deals from hiring him. WWE chose to fire him, they can rehire him whenever they wish.

Don't think that's what he meant, tbh.
Ideally, they'd want him off their roster for as long as they can stretch it, but now they have little choice but to hire him back once his no-compete clause expires, because he's become a red hot commodity.

Yeah think they will keep him out of the roster til the tie chocking incident has died down with the sponsors/Linda McMahon Campaign team. They really wouldn't want him going to another promotion after giving him national exposure and the reaction of the fans to his firing.

Its a shame. He was unbelievable in promos sometimes, and looked like he had enough talent to become the best. BUT now hes fat

Solid Raw. The backstage news is that Barrett (who was kept off TV due to a 'meeting with WWE officials') and Mcintyre have expired visas. Mcintyre has been written off due to the visa, using it as the real reason, but it'll be interesting to see what is done with Barrett. I reckon a three week suspension to Barrett for attacking Vince could do the job.
A small part of me does want to see Malenko and Steamboat against two of the NXT rookies, but I somehow doubt it'll happen.
