It's not like he would be scoring the most, afterall he isn't playing against India..steds said:Why isn't Younis playing?! I've got a bet on him to be Pakistan's top scorer in the series, ffs!
Making excuses already? You haven't lost yet...Scaly piscine said:Hmm another pitch with plenty of turn in it already...

I like that England produce pitches that are made for good cricket, unlike subcontinent teams.Scaly piscine said:Hmm another pitch with plenty of turn in it already...

A lot of that is down to the ball and the atmospheric conditions.nightprowler10 said:I like that England produce pitches that are made for good cricket, unlike subcontinent teams.

That's been a consistent problem with England. Cairns' slower ball did them a few times (Read and Thorpe memorably...), Shoaib's a few times, they waited til they'd been done by Warne before they bothered to try and read some of his deliveries, now some are doing the same with Kaneira.wpdavid said:Disappointing that England still can't read Kaneria's googly - well Cook can't, anyway. After events in Pakistan, you'd have thought they'd have sorted that out by now.
Well for the first day of an English test match, it is.Sanz said:If you believe Scaly Whine, it's turning miles.
Yes indeed. Not to mention his 2nd & 3rd chance averages too.Scaly piscine said:Cook's first chance average must be taking a beating today.
I have to say I enjoy Blofeld.wpdavid said:Why do the Beeb insist on employing Blofield? He's forever blathering on about Cook, Collingwood & Bell fighting over one place in Aus, but, unless Vaughan proves medical science wrong, that simply isn't the case.
