Why isn't Younis playing?! I've got a bet on him to be Pakistan's top scorer in the series, ffs!
It's not like he would be scoring the most, afterall he isn't playing against India..

It's just completely barmy to keep producing dry wickets for Asian tourists, England must be the only Test playing nation that's so damn generous to tourists, may as well not bother having home Tests.

I like that England produce pitches that are made for good cricket, unlike subcontinent teams.

A lot of that is down to the ball and the atmospheric conditions.

But yea you do get more entertaining cricketing conditions in England, but there's still no need to produce dry pitches - it's not like the water ban is that stringent.

We're just too nice us English, our footballers won't surround the referee, our cricketers get themselves injured to give everyone else a chance and our groundsmen prepare pitches to suit all!

Cook and Collingwood are consolidating nicely. I'm not watching the match. How are the pitch conditions?

Disappointing that England still can't read Kaneria's googly - well Cook can't, anyway. After events in Pakistan, you'd have thought they'd have sorted that out by now.

If you believe Scaly Whine, it's turning miles.

That's been a consistent problem with England. Cairns' slower ball did them a few times (Read and Thorpe memorably...), Shoaib's a few times, they waited til they'd been done by Warne before they bothered to try and read some of his deliveries, now some are doing the same with Kaneira.

Why do the Beeb insist on employing Blofield? He's forever blathering on about Cook, Collingwood & Bell fighting over one place in Aus, but, unless Vaughan proves medical science wrong, that simply isn't the case.

I have to say I enjoy Blofeld.
