Hope the Carse hype doesn't go too high over this, I mean nice for him to get a Michelle, but wickets at the end of an innings is always a bit meh, better than not having tem.

think this should be too much for this England Team, but who knows, time for someone to step up, to become the 3rd reserve?

They seem to be having fun trying. I suspect Salt may find it harder when the spinners come on.

That's almost certainly it now, Stokes was the only one likely to make the sort of score needed to pull off this chase. Could potentially end quite quickly too, as I'm not sure I'd describe our batting to come as reliable, but whatever happens, I've enjoyed this series.

Again, more important to get big innings than fast run-rate, to get big scores in oDIs, be ironic if Vince could be the one that does it, unlikely too.

How could you possibly have doubted James Vince?

(other than on the basis of his entire international career hitherto.)

As Bumble has observed (more than once, presumably for the benefit of the more hard of hearing viewers) there's an international cricketer somewhere in Vince.

Class not in doubt, just his concentration.

Lovely knock from Gregory too, helps himself to a second Dorothy of the over as I type.

I'm ;loving this partnership, and it's been great to have a decent contest, but there's the nagging fear this is going to start a "vince for England in all forms" campaign.

yet hey let's not be that person, was a great innings and as I say you need big score in ODI's, and he did it.

Great effort though; record ODI chase at Edgbaston, apparently. Not to be sneezed at at all.
